It is pretty interesting, but it's really a difference of environments. No offense to either of you, Orph acts kind of like I'd expect someone his age to act. Probably black-haired, paler whitish, possibly, that listens to the more metal-side of rock-oriented music. You do as well, Sync, but I think it's because you grew up on the internet, and the more netty parts of the net like the chans and such, that you act so different (different enough that you could be mistaken for a different age).

It's very telling.

I actually have brown hair and I'm hardly pale. (Though I look really pale in the picture I posted because the lighting is really bad... But I have ranted about how much I hate that picture 3 times and I'm not doing it again.)

...Anyway I really don't know how to take that. :v I've never heard anyone say that except in a negative way.

I've been told that I'm really mature for my age by a lot of people. My aunt, my therapist, a lot of my older friends. I really don't know what to think anymore.

Hm...Darker brown, then? I would assume so, generally it's in the black to darker brown spectrum. Usually. Actually, generally it's darker brown, don't really know why I went for black.

But it's because it's the internet. Here, you meet a lot of people and talk about a wider range of subjects, so it becomes easier to identify the type of person someone is by how they write, and sometimes by their interests and how they present themselves aesthetically (ie profiles and the like). You're presented a lot more information about a person here than you are in real life, and as you meet more people who share specific traits, it becomes obvious (or, at least, more clear). It gets more difficult as one gets older, but I'd not be surprised if someone could deduce how old I was.
