I did as well. Reinstalled NV after 4's announcement and skipped. Well, that was on purpose. When I bought the game originally it was probably an accident, though. And that was years ago.
Still haven't seen the intro. Or even played much of New Vegas. I played the hell out of Fallout 3 some years prior, though.
But I don't know if I can get into New Vegas now. I've started noticing a lot of flaws in the engine and UI design for that game, as well as my favorite Elder Scrolls game (Oblivion) which possibly ran on the same engine. I'll give the Nexus a look and see if that can do me any good.
