That's a LOT of annoucements...

    Ok... for some forums the annoucements are seriously stacking up to an outrageous amount. For example, in Community Q+F, there's 4 stacking now (some got like 6 or even 7 now)... and some of those annoucements are quite ancient too. It's very annoying. Is there a way where we minimize/delete/whatever those annoucements so they aren't taking so much space? O.o;

    Dakota's one about rep could prolly go, since I doubt anyone pays attention to it. Else it's kinda up to the mods of the forums to balance out their announcements with the ones that are global.

    Shouldn't you be scared, being out of your game/fics forum? =P

    Yeah, my one about rep already has been viewed by at LEAST 1/6th of the entire community...which is enough I'd say

    *deletes*

    but there are a lot of announcements...

    Mine are so prettiful and informative and cute, like myself! They should stay.
    I suppose it wouldn't be a bad idea to prune through the announcement manger once ina while though.

    Edit: Also the one about President can be taken down in a week or so, really.

    Yeah...like the originality one at T-dome could go, so could the one about Poetry section in other writing

    BOO ya! that's what i saID! STEP OFF! GRR!!

    *punches people in the face*

    I think we still need the one in the T-dome. Doesn't hurt, at any rate.

    The writing…yeah, like I said I'll go through em.

    I liked to prune announcements when I had the chance. o_o

    There was one in Webbies that Simone stuck up back when she first started. o_o

    It was ancient.

    (Webbies can use a trim - the subforum one can go)

    *sigh* more proof that only 1/3 of all staffs are actually working, while the other 2/3 is either dead or useless.

    Oh, sometimes one must venture out into the world to protect the places that he truly loves and belongs... and at the mean time, protecting his virgin eyes from absolute immorality/spam-junk seeping in via annoucements.

    There's actually a vB hack that can give them info if their mods are doing their jobs. XD

    Alright...alright...I'm guilty. T~T;

    If the annoucements are supposed to be on for a little while...then why do people post them up in the first place? ._.; Temperorary ones for a short amount of time can be done in sticky...o.o

    My latest announcement is immoral? Ohh…reporting people is wrong, cause they should amend their own mistakes? Gotcha. XP

    I tend to disagree. Announcements go away on their own after time, and are used to display information temporarily. Stickies will always be there, and are best for things like rules and FAQs since they can easily be added on to.

    I don't tend to use announcements anyway.... only edit their spelling when they're posted by other people. XD
