Now then, there comes a time in every evil overlord's life when said overlord must depart and seek new surroundings and new opportunities. That time for me draws very near. In less than a week, in fact.

I just found myself an apartment that I can afford within my budget, so I'm (finally) leaving home to move into my own place. Granted, it's only in the tiny hick town nearest to home, but at least it's a town (as opposed to being in the middle of nowhere). Besides, with any luck, I shouldn't be there too long - I've applied to be put on a waiting list for apartments in Charlotte, NC, so once something opens up there, I'll be moving once again, this time to a city I actually want to live in :P The place I'm moving into will do for the time being, though, and I can actually walk to places, few in number as those places may be. And hey, not having to deal with the rest of the family's 9:00 PM curfew is always a good thing xD

My official move in day is Monday the 24th.

For a second there, I thought that you were leaving PC, like Hikari (BTW, thanks for ninja-ing your response literally seconds away from mine.) Thank god.

You must be trilled to be able to finally get the hell away from your hitler-esque parents, so I'm really happy for you.

LOL I just felt like messing with y'all just a bit.

Eh, they aren't that bad, it's just that some of their rules (and how they live in general) are just weird... like going to bed ridiculously early, waking up ridiculously early, and choosing to live in the middle of nowhere, where creepy stuff does indeed happen from time to time.

I totally know what it's like to live in a hick town myself. I lived in one for 5 years. Every now and then I go back there, but nothing has changed.

Grats on finding a place, that's the next big step from me after I graduate from High School this year.
