4th Gen The 2 new Eevee Evolutions

Wait a minute. Glacia is an Elite Four member in Pokemon RSE, NOT GSC! And Vineon wouldn't fit Leafia anyways. And Gardeneon doesn't fit either. I think it should be just plain old Leafieon (not Leafeon! Notice the ''i'' in the name? It makes the name sound better) for the Grass-type Eevee evolution, and Glacieon (not Glaceon! Again, notice the ''i'' in the name) for the Ice-type Eevee evolution.

Don't you think it's quite weird that a Pokemon would be named after a member of the Elite Four in another game? But, anyways, I did name my Nidoran-F ''Glacia'' in my LeafGreen Version.
 
i made leafia before like even before gold came out.. nvr knew why they didn't put grass version of eevee... and mine looks 100x better than that............. -_-
 
Well thats good 2 hear...now there is 7 Eevee evolutions!They also look pretty awesome!
I might have 2 get them when i get Diamond.
 
I think they're pretty cool. I think their new English names are going to be Glaceon and Lefeon, though. This makes me sad, because it just sounds a little...odd. But I still like them.
 
How do you get an Eevee anyway in games other than B/R/Y? Do you need National Dex?

yea, it shuld b called steeleon or metalleon, and for ground it shuld b... hmm... let me think... not muddeon, thats crap... Direon or sumfin.

agree, i do, that umbra is a term for darkness, but it actually comes from the latin word-umbra-meaning shadow or ghost
 
does n e one agree with me that 'eon' -the suffix that comes at the end of all the eeveelutions, has something to do with an eon being a powerful -and sometimes unstable- substance, just like eevee... ne1 agree???
 
YA!!! I agree. And I dont think they will make more Eevee evolutions... Because it seems kinda stupid, because they made Leafia or Leafeon look crapy n Glacia or Glaceon look stupid n same with most of the pokemon in DP. If they make annymore Im sure the new pokemon will look more cartoony n crap-E-er.

Eon is a great meausrement of time, and overtime their have been many expansions to eevee's evolutions, makes sense to me that way
 
I quite like them...i reckon they should make a ghost one...it dosent matter if stats dont match...they would make some really good pokemon...

i dont no why people dont like Glaceon it looks good, ice pokemon are diffrent to water, it dosent even look that much like Vaporeon...yeah the original eevee evolutions were brilliant but people just have to make room for more
 
technically, the GHOST eeveelution is Umbreon-seeing as the latin word for ghost is 'umbra' but it also means shadow in latin too respondin to being a DARK type poke. it cud just be the DARK type.
 
I think good names would be Folieon and Blizzareon. They are fun to say, and they flow. ^^
 
Folieon is a good name. Much better than Leafeon..XD
And for the Ice...Blizzareon sounds pretty cool...I'm thinking it will probably just be Glaceon. Which is fine, except there IS a woman named Glacia.

Maybe they -are- starting to run out of creative designs for the Eons..but still, I think Glacia looks pretty, even if a bit similar to Vaporeon, and Leafia is something I've seen drawn many times before. :/ I remember years ago when I was trying to think up my own pokemon, and I came up with an Ice-type eeveelution and called it Sibereon. (Y'know, Siberia...I still like the sound of it but it's not as cool as I thought it was when I came up with it back then..) Basically it looked like a Regice (this was before that generation), that type of body, except of course in four-legged dog-like form. =p

I need to see more of them, preferably in non-sprite form, to determine what I really think about them. At the moment, though, I think they both look good.

Glaceon is fine, too, but like you said, there's a woman called Glacia, and if you want to make the Pokemon similar to Vaporeon then it would be ideal to have four syllables in the name.

Whoa, I just made no sense.

Anyway. I also drew an Ice eeveelution a long time ago, but it was not that good. It ended up looking like Articuno as a dog...o_o I wish they were a bit more creative. It's like sticking wings on Eevee and calling it a Flying type. T_T

Yeah, I've been looking for pictures of them in non-sprite so i can find out what i think of them...

yah but the systematic naming of all the eevee evolutions is that none of them start with the same letter. flareon already has an 'f'.
 
I still think Glacia and Leafia are overdoing it, the 5 Evolutions and Eevee itself could fit perfectly on a team. Besides, I don't like thier design, it looks like somebody just whipped them up quickly so they could have 2 more eeveelutions. I really disagree with the whole eevee-has-to-evolve-into-every-single-type thing, 5 was maybe stretching it a little, but SEVEN? If they do make an evolution for every type, I swear I will kill myself. I feel sorry for eevee too, it was overlooked before just for its evolutions, now it has 2 more to overshadow it. Grass and Ice mess up the atvantage/disadvantage circle too, they could have at least made a fighting type. If they had released just one it would have been better... but... yeah... I'mma stop now xD
