Why hate the new DP Pokemon? This generation got more successfully useful Pokemon than RSE by far -_-; What's hatable is the introduction of the 'choice items' which basically means, predict well or die. Stupid choice scarf just added two times the amount of numbers to memorize for the Pokemon metagame (let's all stab scarf heracross to death right now). Not to mention, this generation is purely aggro. Even Milotic is deemed incapable of tanking unless sleep talking, while Skarmory is having a huge tough time to withstand 3 physical attacks too =/

Calculus is just limits, differential and integration equations, backed up by the two fundamental theory of calculus that makes everything about it go around (but then again, FTC1 is so lame and beyond understandable, not to mention useless. Just stick with FTC2.)

Must save Origin's quote about Lighty. It's hilarious (and truthful XD)

Oh... how wrong you are about math being totally subjective... wait and see until elementary linear equations (aka, Matrix) kicks in. That's the time when you really have to copy how your profs prefer the matrix to be done, even if you get the same final answer in the end =/ *kicks prof for being a top-notched idiot*

Back to the DP discussion... am I ever going out of order.

Arcanine mentioned the online thing... and that thing actually pisses me off pretty severely. It's like a self invitation for Smogon to appear in public. Oh gosh knows how hectic that is going to be for the little kids -.-; Hate that totally elitist tone online for Pokemon, and that's probably the one and only reason why I always try to get into NB but end up hating it everytime.

Yeah, if I ever play DP, I'll remain just playing the AI or at the very most, play against people who I know in person already... I just lost all faith in Pokemon battling community, really.

How'd you lose faith in the Pokemon battle community? I must've missed something. o_o;

I'm judging on looks only. Regardless of how "useful" the new generation is or not, I'm just disappointed with the designs. I like the starters more than most, and a few specific species interest me. Overall though, they don't really appeal to me. You also have to admit they want faaaaar overboard with the legendaries. What are there? About a dozen? Just ridiculous...

True that they look pathetically ugly, but at least they're useful... Unlike some of the RSE Pokemon that's both ugly and weak ;; I mean, if you aren't good looking, at least be useful... (Luvdisc, looking straight at you)

The count of legendaries have always been going up only =/

RBY- 5
GSC- 6
RSE- 10 (treating 4 Deoxys form as one, though battle-wise they're 4 separate)
DP- 13

lol... yeah, more legendary is sorta expected =/

22sa: how can you not o_o;

The gifted program at my elementary school just shoved all the gifted kids into one class and taught them math a year ahead and gave them harder assignments and curriculum in Language Arts. That was...pretty much it. The report cards and education plans said we got gifted classes in everything, but those were the only subjects. XD; Dunno how they do it in high school though, since I went to an arts school instead of continuing in that program. :\

But...with your program, what would happen if you were really good at every subject? XD Would you just get extra work in everything and be required to complete it?

If you were really good at every subject you would get extra work in only three of those subjects, no idea why, also anoyone who is gifted and talented in 3 subjects or more I think you get to go on trips to places every few months. The last trip some of the gifted and talented students went to was the houses of parliament, some of my friends who are gifted and talented said it was really boring since there wasn't really much to do. Well at least they didn't have school for the day...

In top set we're being taught math a year ahead, we done our math GCSE last month and we had to do our math SATs last year. The year 9s who are not in top set are doing their math SATs this year. (Did that make any sense?) So we're probably just going to have a normal math lesson while the other year 9s do their math SATs next month.

As for D/P, I was quite shocked when I found out how many legendaries there would be. XDD The game looks pretty good, but I have to agree with MegaFuz on the designs, they don't really look that great D: But I might even grow to love them when I get to play D/P.

I am not so happy with the new designs either :(

When I went to apply for math at A level, I was told that due to be not being in top set for GCSE, I'd have a struggle to do well in it. Apparently whatever students are taught in top set for years 9/10/11 is different to what the others students are being taught. And due to my weird cycle of sets in math I'm nowhere near qualified enough it study it for A level. It was a shame, though. I really did want to do it. The SATs tests were the only reason why I'm in a good set for math now, I think. Before that I was only getting 79% but for my SATs I got 90%, which put me into second set.

For me, I'm not really interested enough to get D/P. Maybe later on, but at the moment they don't really interest me at all. I know my mum wants to get Diamond... or it could be Pearl, so I'll probably end up playing that one. Heh.

I'm going to finish up my piece by saying that I refuse to answer anyone who puts in a 'you think you're sooo smart' bit into their argument. Sorry, but that's just so elementary school I can see that someone never grew up.

Second of all, anyone who refuses to learn is bound to go nowhere exceedingly fast. Hmm, what other world leader thinks he's always right and won't admit mistakes? Dear old President Bush. Andy must have posters of him in his room. We can all tell that's his role model now. After all, telling Bush to follow his own rules won't go anywhere either.

I will concede that I earned my bans. Happy? See, I learned something.

End. [For Mewthree's sake only]

In my math SATs last year I think I got about 96%, I'm quite nervous about my math GCSE grade, I didn't feel I did as well as I could've. Ah well, it's all over and done with now I guess. What subjects have you chosen for A level?

Johto and Kanto should be remade. Expecially Johto, alot of people took a liking to it <3
[/Random] 5 guests viewing the DCC, Well were at least.

A new Johto game would be better. <3
A new look to Kanto would be much better than another boring Kanto area with the same events happening. That Snorlax really annoyed meh ;;

Hoenn, well, that was good enough, a remake isn't nessacary for it.

No, they never get boring <3
Continously making new regions isn't any better than remakes. Because, they are like the new and improved versions of the ones everyone just luffs.
