Ouch just the thought of slicing your finger in woodwork makes me squirm... I can handle a bit of blood though...

I don't like all of those idiots who do stuff like that, they think it's funny when they cause a hazard, their friends might find it funny but apart from them basically everyone thinks they're idiots who have nothing else better to do. But I guess getting to miss school for the day is the only good thing that comes out of it. XD

Well he payed for it. The rest of his tenure at our school he went by the nickname "Merc". It wasn't a loving nickname either. XDD

The worst things that happen to me in woodwork is this well big idiot who thinks its funny ton throw files at people. plus he is always chopping wood he doesn't need to with the bandsaw when the teacher leaves the room. All these idiots get cut down one day i hope the one in my school does.

In my high school science class, the worst injury inflicted was when I burned myself on a battery. As soon as I did so, my lab partner also touched the battery because she didn't know it was hot. Apparently my blistered finger wasn't a big enough clue.

And as for the worst experiment I had to do in class...explore a piglet in Anatomy class. And you thought the stereotypical frog was bad...

My work is full of people injuring themselves. I cut my own thumb open with a blade a few days ago. And I'm not the only one at my workplace to do so. =X

Other than those interesting moments, nothing else happened in the way of injuries in my high school.

In the way of injuries sustained during high school, I've pricked myself with a dissecting probe twice during the course of my biology classes.

Dissecting frogs and piglets was an interesting experience, though the smell of the formaldehyde was quite irritating. The worst type of experiment is the kind that just isn't engaging.

*currently sifting through a German Evangelion fansite for wallpaper* ...I can't read most German at all. XD

I never actually hurt myself. I did drop and break a beaker though and had to pay the school for it. XDD

The smell was definitely the worst part, yeah. I didn't mind the dissecting itself, but wow...the odor. o.O

That makes it a little hard, eh? XD

I work at Canadian Tire now, and in the Seasonal / Sports section at that, so I'm pretty safe from injury. For those Americans out there, Canadian Tire is like an auto shop, tools shop, garden, sports, etc. shop, all rolled into one. It's annoying though, cause tomorrow is my second day of training, and my last job was working at Subway. It's quite a bit different. XD

I can't read German either, but I'll be in Germany for three days in July, so I'm going to have to wing it then. =x

You guys got it easy. I had to dissect the brain of some sort of animal in 6th grade. I think the smell was so bad, that it even hurt my eyes. @_@ Horrible stuff it is, just plain old horrible. Speaking about languages, i want to learn japanese. And not only for the obvious reasons, but also because i heard that they have better education there. Plus everything they do has to do with games, and they just intrigue me so.

Heh, well at least he survived. That's definitely a good thing. XD

The worst thing that probably happened in my high school was when a kid sliced off his finger in the wood shop. I heard that was pretty gruesome. Another kid smashed his fingers in some weights at the weight room after school. I got to witness that first hand and it was not pretty. Blood everywhere...

One time an idiot brought in some Mercury to school and dropped the glass jar in the lobby. We basically got out of a full day of school that day and Poison Control had to come in and scan each individual for traces of the Mercury. The lobby ended up being completely sealed and air-tight for a few weeks until the levels of the chemical went down again.
Jeez, that's some ****. Nothing dangerous ever happened around me in labs. XD

Wait, go back to that for a second, is "piglet" just another word for a pig fetus? If so, we had to do that too, but I wasn't able to bare through it, not just because of the smell, but the entire fact that I was mutilating a dead baby pig, I felt horrible about it, but it I couldn't stop thinking to myself "Dude, this is the most Metal thing I've ever done in my Life." XD

Didn't you used to have the Dethklok theme lyrics in your sig here? xD

22sa, watch the language please. ^^;

Dissection is eww. I can barely stand the sight of blood (at one point I couldn't at all), and opening something up probably wouldn't be good for my stomach... at all. XD

Although in my friends bio class they were dissecting dead cats; which I see as kind of wrong.

You worked at Subway? Awesome. Did you make the bread, stock the chips, replace the soda thingie, slice the tomatoes, work the register, and all of that stuff? Was it annoying? And what do you do at Canadian Tire, exactly?

That's cool. I've never worked before. I feel shame. xD; =x

Pfft, work. I might work next summer, when I can do work-study, but otherwise I have no intention to. I can focus on my schoolwork much more by not working. In turn, I get a degree, an awesome job, and I'm eating gourmet lunch in the Google cafeteria or something. It all works out.

I had to work at a coffee shop called Tim Horton's.. *shudders at the thought of working there ;;*

After about 3 months I just left, it takes way too much out of you.. socially, mentally and physically.. school wise as well. My friend who got me the job moved and now works at another Tim Horton's where he was promoted to Supervisor at age 17!.. Shortly after though he went back to being a Baker instead because of all the crap you have to deal with (well more of it anyways). Everyone has to work storefront which involves doing everything, and having a drive-thru didn't make it any easier >>'

The money was good though.. xD

I've had a variety of not-so-awesome and very awesome jobs, I'm currently an ice cream man. :D

Hopefully I'll get into the merchant marine program later this year, that'll open doors for some very good jobs in the future for me.

I didn't take biology so I've never had to dissect anything. I mean, I doubt I'd mind much but bio was my least favourite science and I could only take one through high school so I went with Physics. :<

And...yeah, I've never had a job before. x_o; My parents won't let me have one during the school year because it'll detract from my studies (not like I study much anyway, but oh well). I was going to have one last summer but they told me last-minute that they were only accepting males for the job and since I'd only just recently cancelled full-summer plans, I didn't end up doing anything. =\ I wouldn't mind a job but I'm perfectly content not having one at the same time. XD;

I've never had a job before. :x My parents want me to start looking next year, though.

I want to be an ice cream person, just like Jorfe! :B

Hey you're back. XD
About time you got back on Dawson, I was wondering if anything happened to you. XD
Yeah, I'm back, baby! But seriously, I wasn't actually aware that I went away. XD

Oh, and I can't believe a fight escalated and I didn't get to be involved. Damn you, Andy. Pick a time when I'm around for your next fight, please.

EDIT:

I'm taking credit/responsibility/blame for that rare non-XD smilie from Jorge.
