What don't you think you did as well in, the SATs test? If so, the SATs don't mean anything at all apart from to decide on which set and what tier paper you're going to be entered for. It's a bit like the SATs you do in Year 6. There purpose is purely for the secondary school to decide what ability you have in that subject. If you didn't do them you'd be put in sets that wouldn't be helpful to you at all. Like, if I'd been put in set one I'd probably be finding it too hard and demanding. But if I were in set seven, I'd be finding it too easy.

Lt. Surge's Raichu
I sort of agree with you there.

When they brought out FireRed and LeafGreen I really enjoyed playing them as I hadn't played Red/Blue/Green for ages and the graphics looked good. So having new ones isn't boring; however, a while back I started playing Red and I had just as much fun as I did when playing FireRed so they're also kinda pointless to me.

.-'Infernal Hylian'-.

The added bonuses in FireRed were nice, I'll admit that. But that was the only thing I really missed from playing the original.

I don't think I did as well as I could've in my math GCSE, but I don't know how I've done so I can't really say if I've done good or not XD. I remember in year 6 when the teachers made a big fuss about the SATs, it makes me laugh think back on how serious everyone thought they were. XD

Set seven?! Your sets go up that high? At my school the sets only go up to 4. XD

Its like some of the Final fanatsy games that in dawn of souls came out forn the GBA but were just re-released versions of the actual games nothing was changed.

If Ocarina of time was remade for the wii or something then i would obviously buy it but i bet it wouldn't be like the original.

...oh. I forgot you'd already done the GCSE. I'm sure you've done okay, though. Heh, I remember my friend saying he'd done fantastic in an English exam and he got 13%. Lowest mark in the year group. XD

In Year six I was really worried about my SATs; mainly because I'd just moved schools and it was quite a lot for me to get used to all of a sudden. I did a lot of revision and I did... fine, I think. I got into Set 1 for Science and English and set 5 for math. Even though I got the same level for both science and math I was spread out in the two subjects. I was quite appalled at my math set so I worked like crazy to get good marks and it paid off only a few months later when I started studying set three stuff.

And yeah, we've got seven sets for each subject. 1-2 is the higher, 3-4 intermediate and 5/6/7 is lower.

But this depends on which game being remade.
If OOT gets remaked ofcourse i buy it

I bet he just said that because he didn't want to admit that he didn't do well in it. XD

I got in Set 1 in Science and Math when I got into Secondary school(We don't have sets for English), but now I'm in set 3 science. Science is by far the worst subject for me, although I did pretty well in my Mock Science SATs papers, I'm hoping to go up a set next year, set 3 sucks. D:

Nah, I think he genuinely thought he'd done well. It just sucks to be him. XD

Science, for me, is my hardest subject. I have no idea why I'm in set one. Out the the three core subjects mathematics is my favourite, yet I'm in a lower set than the other two. Funny, really. My mock exam papers for science I don't think I did too well. That's what I've really got to revise for if I was a decent grade overall.
Set 1 in math?
Wow Emma xD
I get 3 or 4
Do you think it would be possible for you to add a little more content to your posts, as what you've been posting hasn't got a huge possibility for others to contribute to the discussion. Thanks. ^^;

Yeah ofcourse i can. Didn't know it was like that.
But it isn't always that i have so much to write though

Poor guy. XD

Unbelievably, science used to be my favourite subject in Junior school, I did really well in it aswell. XD I really wonder what happened. I think it was because of the many different teaching methods the teachers at Secondary school had, it took me a very long time to get used to them. I find it hard to revise for science, it takes me longer to take in the information than other subjects, and everytime in science exams, none of the things I revised for science isn't even mentioned in the papers. XD

It's not compulsory but it does help the conversation flow better if there is something for other members' to reply to.

Really? I don't know how someone can like the doing all the experiments and stuff. I much prefer doing written based logic puzzles than finding out how many atoms nitrogen has or something. My teacher was really keen for me to study it further, but I was like "nooo way." I agree that science and its different sections is really hard to study and really learn. It usually goes in one ear and out the other with me. Apparently the only way to really learn it is active revision. But I don't really like that, so I don't tend to do a lot. Currently I'm using SamLearning to revise. And I dare say it does help you learn the science.

In Junior school we rarely did experiments, I'm not really a sort of person who like doing all the practical stuff in science either. I never really get anything good out of experimenting stuff, when my science teacher says "I'm going to be letting you all do an experiment if you all behave" at that point I just hope that everyone misbehaves so that we don't have to do the practical, but it's not like the class I'm in ever behaves anyway. XD

Most of the time in class we have to revise from BBC bitesize if we are using laptops, but I always go to MySkoool (I think that's it XD) instead. Bitesize has never really helped me with revision.

The first experiment I did was in high school and it was with a bunsen burner. None of my class had done anything before so it was all very new. Being careless, someone in the group went and burnt his hand. I believe it was quite bad, too, seeing as he had to go to hospital and such.

I know one of my friends hates experiment so much he'll act ill so he can sit out. That is all down to our teacher basically going mental at him for doing something wrong in Year 8. I don't think he's ever got out of it. And seeing as we have the same teacher now as he did then, he always remembers it when we start an experiment.

I hate classes that don't get on with work, ugh. I go to school to learn and it's so annoying when a few kids at the back won't shut up and the teacher keeps us all back to catch up on what we missed due to some idiots. <<; My math class is the worst for that... so many people have been suspended because they don't like our teacher and are really out-of-order to him.

The only time I've used BBC Bitesize was to look up A View From The Bridge for English. I find it hard to navigate and find what you're actually looking for so I stay away. And I've never heard of MySkoool before.

We did a plethora of experiments in high school. We dissected worms, frogs, pigs, owl pellets, then did all kinds of labs with chemicals and such.

I actually had a friend here at college that had a Bio class in which they had a human cadaver. Each student had to make a cut on the subject and point it out to the teacher and class. That would have freaked me out. o.o;;

I don't like bunsen burners, because whenever they are used in our class, there's always something stupid that happens. D:

It's like that all the time in my science class, those "rudeboys" are always chanting random stuff and find it funny throwing insults at the teacher which nobody knows what they mean except them. O_o In the last practical (which was like, the start of year 9, the teacher can't trust my science class one bit to do a simple practical) the boys thought they were cool, turned on a gas tap and put on a lighter right in front of it, a big flame came out and all they could do was laugh. Something really bad could've happened at that time and they just didn't seem to care. -_-

I heard of a girl at my college that dropped a vile of acid the other day and it bounced up and got on her face. She ran to the washing station to get it off as quick as possible, then was ambulanced to the hospital. Musta been terrible. o.O;;

Woah, that's gotta hurt. I think the worst incident that's happened at my school is when a guy in year 10 drank some chemical, apparently he was in hospital for quite a while and the stuff he drank was quite dangerous. Some things that people do these days... I don't really know much more of what happened to the guy, but he lived. Which is good. XD

Must save Origin's quote about Lighty. It's hilarious (and truthful XD)

Everything I say is hilarious and truthful. =3

Yeah, not everything. XD

When I was in Grade 9, some kid got burning metal in the eye during my shop class. He's blind in that eye now, but the doctors say he's lucky it isn't worse. >.x

Heh, well at least he survived. That's definitely a good thing. XD

The worst thing that probably happened in my high school was when a kid sliced off his finger in the wood shop. I heard that was pretty gruesome. Another kid smashed his fingers in some weights at the weight room after school. I got to witness that first hand and it was not pretty. Blood everywhere...

One time an idiot brought in some Mercury to school and dropped the glass jar in the lobby. We basically got out of a full day of school that day and Poison Control had to come in and scan each individual for traces of the Mercury. The lobby ended up being completely sealed and air-tight for a few weeks until the levels of the chemical went down again.

I absoloutely hate the sight of blood, although I don't think I've ever seen a very serious accident happen in front of me, I don't really hope to in the future either but I guess it can't really be avoided.

I don't like all of those idiots who do stuff like that, they think it's funny when they cause a hazard, their friends might find it funny but apart from them basically everyone thinks they're idiots who have nothing else better to do. But I guess getting to miss school for the day is the only good thing that comes out of it. XD

Eek, I can only imagine the pain he must've gone through. D:
