Nah, it wasn't 8000. He already had over or about 10k, and then once Dawson removed the DCC threads, his count got reduced, and when the DCC's came back, his count rised. XD
I think one reason for the DCC to raise post counts (The other reasons are on vacation :P). I post so much in the other triva, I already have 1000 posts but not in my post count. Makes me wonder why it dosen't let the posts you made add into your post count...?
Why would you care so much for having a big post count and wanting it to add up, though?I think one reason for the DCC to raise post counts (The other reasons are on vacation :P). However, Kawaii, you need to stop the stalker-ish stuff. It's weird. O_o
I post A LOT in the boards that don't count toward my post count since I joined. But maybe that's the reason why they didn't add post count in those boards, because too many people post there. MANY people spam in the New people welcoming board. Simply because they need to raise their post count. I mean seriously? Also since D/P came out more people are joining and leaving. Leaving not a lot of people who have been here for about 2 years, hanging around PC anymore, Did you see the D/P boards lately? It's like SPAM, SPAM, and more SPAMMY posts. Hardly anyone posts here anymore.
you got a point there, some just spam to make thier post count go up. I'm think to many new people are joining to fast and spamming up the boards cause they don't understand the rules. It actually been proven that the chance of n00bs being banned for not following the rules is way higher than members that have been here for some time.
Yeah, but it's the fact you used it in a post which is stalker-ish. Whether you're still taking print screens or not is irrelevant; it's the fact you've still got them and actually use them for backing-up stuff. o.o;Oh but I did. If you'd notice that was before I signed up on this account, that's when most of the other side of me stopped.
Most of this account is not exactly spammy... whoo for new accounts. XD
That is kinda obvious though. If a member's been around for along time they're obviously going to know the rules and be abiding by them because they haven't been banned or warned, etc.you got a point there, some just spam to make thier post count go up. When I used to ban members their time on PC was taken into account. If it was just a n00b that joined a day ago and made all spam posts, I'd likely ban the person on the spot. But if it was an older member, that had been here for a few months and got a good number of posts I'd send a warning and that'd be it.
Sure it isn't right that I say this person gets a warning and this gets a ban. But if the person is a few months old that person has a reason to straighten up, because he/she likely made some friends on here, he/she wants to be a better member and stick around. The n00b might go "Screw you, I'm not listening to what you have to say." because that person has nothing to stick around for.
Do n00bs have a better chance of getting banned, yea.

So just because it's habit it's deemed okay, huh?
Habit.... even if it is stalker-ish towards you. They at least back up a statement in some way, even if it is reasonably odd.

It's not really okay at all...
Heh, I never said it was deemed okay. Most possibly slightly implied it, but not stating it is.
It's only okay in small, yet weird circumstances.
It's not a good habit to have, screening people's activities.
Actually, the point I was trying to make is that is makes people get the wrong impression of you when you're taking screenshots of their posts and using them to back-up points. It's just weird, you know?I only still have those screenies incase somebody needs them. It's not like I care for screenshot'ing peoples posts anymore. Well I do... kinda, but not like before when I was totally obsesed. Most of them were deleted, but there is nothing wrong with having a screenie of someones post count because I saw into the future that this months motm would have a DCC vote. XD
