Whatever happend to Machamp. He used to be so good. Why is he so forgotten?

Let me get this strait. Are you guys suggesting that we start the team over compleletly from scratch? Well, i guess if thats what you want to do. I will remove the trainer card, this means i will no longer be watching the Combating the Best Team thread. To start to build a team, we need to pick one pokemon, then build from that. Someone just pick one and we can start from there. Paranoia, i would like to thank you. The whole reason we made the new thread is to find our weaknesses, and we did. I can say that the second thread was a success. If our team wasnt good enough, then we will start over. For now, Combating the Best Team thread is closed, because we have yet to find the BEST TEAM possible. Welcome aboard Paranoia.

Thanks, Good to be here, well I'll work on the team tonight, and I will think about replacing Scizor, imo he is bringing the team down, and maybe switch porygon z to gengar, because he is a bit more efficient imo, But thats a maybe. (I am going through the thread to catch up on all your decisions)

I was thinking if gyrados should take scizor's place, he seems good, (Aswell as one ripped apart my team) And he can learn avalanche (I think) Which is good support against dragon's.

No, we shouldn't tear the whole team down. We can't take care of every weakness. Thats what the 'Combating The Best Team' thread is all about. And once we rid ourselves of these weaknesses, we'll be seeing 5 more from another observant reader. Lets just try to fix this team to the best we can. Remember, we still gotta do the other thread after this to cover more weaknesses.

All you can do is make a team better, even the best team could loose to an experienced player who predicts right when the person using the team is a noob, Although you shouldn't tear the whole team down, you should change them around a bit, I am working on it now, I shall show the movesets in a minute.

Remember, we are here too. :) Don't do it all alone.

We can agree on that we need a good fighting Pokemon to counter the likes of Umbreon and the ever so annoying pink puff of existance...Blissey.

Um... *cough* Infernape. Also, Drain Punch might own Blissey. Just saying.

I had no intention, I wanted to show you guys what I thought, and why I thought it, it's all to help you's, anyway, Sims, Evaluate! [LONG POST]

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: + Sp. Def, - Sp. Atk
Evs: 252 HP / 184 Sp. Def / 72 Atk
Moveset:
- Shadow Sneak
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp
- Mean Look / Gravity

Alrighty!, Shadow sneak gets 60 base power with STAB and can hurt pokemon like gengar, who would otherwise try and use shadowball, you would survive and use SS again and he would die. Pain split if they bring out blissey all the likes, Will-o When they switch (Predict) Mean look for blissey, Gravity is so Meta and Sala can rip through birds (Like Skarm)

Metagross @ Item
Ability: Clear Body
Nature: + Atk, - Sp. Atk
Evs: 252 Atk / 152 HP / 100 Spd
Moveset:
- Thunder Punch
- Earthquake / Zen Headbutt / Rock Slide
- Meteor Mash
- Agility

Basic Agiligross, I prefer Zen Headbutt, as it says Hi to Heracross, thunderpunch is awesome against milotic and Starmie (When you have used agility) MM is a basic stab move that deals **** loads of damage.

Milotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Marvel Scale
Nature: +Def, - Atk
Evs: 252 Def / 178 HP / 80 Sp. Atk
Moveset:
- Rest
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Sleep Talk

Sleeptalker, Stops chances of being toxified, and the sleep status doubles her already max defense.

Salamence @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: + Spd, - Def
Evs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Moveset:
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Blast
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Basic Salamence, Can deal with skarmory, as a fireblast says hi, He wants Choice Scarf to outrun any Infernape (I think, if they aren't running choice scarf themselves) Would rip through a team if he got a BP of SD or Agili (Ninjask is awesome at this btw) Stone edge to any bird (Like the bird trio) EQ to Steels like Meta, Which a normal Meta (Maxed EVs) wouldn't outrun this beast.

NOW The list!!!

Swampert
Tauros
Togekiss
Tyranitar - Meta and Sala
Umbreon
Vaporeon
Venusaur - Milotic
Weezing
Zapdos - Meta

Would Flamethrower be an option over Fire Blast? I hate inaccuracy.

It could be, it's up to you, I don't know if a UN-STABED flamethrower would OHKO skarmory though, My experience with this sala is he never misses.

Yeah, I don't like those "super" moves either. You can't rely on Fire Blast.

Fire Blast does have the best accuracy of the super moves though (85 i think) which it makes it hit quite often (you only need one hit to KO a Skarmory anyway)

No, I use 95 accuracy moves and miss a lot. But maybe I'm just unlucky.

Were not really trying over, just fixing mistakes.

Yeah, we wanna make sure this team actually works. Figure out Pokmon weaknesses we never noticed before.

To a point. We still got that "Combating The Best Team" thread to work on after this.

Well the problem with this is that every pokemon has its weaknesses and no matter how hard we try there's always going to be some one to knock it down a level.
(^^I'm looking forward to prooving myself wrong^^)
This team was prepared for opponens that would be running very good teams but with the well known pokemon(not saying we didn't cover some of the less obvious because we all worked hard and I know that.)
Now we need to assemble/fix a team that can combat the pokemon your not always expecting or you wouldn't normally think it's the first choice, like say Umbreon or Jumpluff(yes Jumpluff, weak but extremely annoying, plus it catches you WAY off your guard.)

Or.... not.

Yes, the dreaded Jumpluff. I remember I got owned by one once. Anyways, what mistakes do we have? xD huge question..

Ok, Ok. Lets take this a little more slowly. I agree that taking down this whole team is a terrible idea. I am now going to give you some of my own opinions, and then my opinions on what you have said. First, let me start by saying that the list that has been shown is a very good idea, but first, i think we should trim it down to the VERY OU pokemon, such as infernape, Blissey, Skarmory, Metagross, Milotic, ect. This way, we can take focus on the situations that are most likely to occur. I do agree with the first four pokemon that Paranoia has choosen. Which i believe are Dusknoir, Milotic, Salamence, and Metagross.

Now for the parts i dont like. Lets first talk about Milotic. To use rest and sleep talk is... guys, im sorry i am having a situaton, i have to go now. Sry. i will post tommorow
