This way, we can take focus on the situations that are most likely to occur. I do agree with the first four pokemon that Paranoia has choosen. Which i believe are Dusknoir, Milotic, Salamence, and Metagross.

Well, I gave milotic nearly max def, and whenever milotic has a status (Rest) she gets DOUBLE her def, so if it is 200 it becomes 400,thanks to good old marvel scale!, That is why sleeptalker is so awesome on milotic, it is also her standard set in the 4th gen, but it is still awesome, and it stops any attempts of her being able to get toxicfied.
 
I agree, and I'd also like to say, if we decide not to do the restalk set, she always has Refresh.

You agree to whom? (Write the name of the person, Because right now I am confuzzled (Confused))

Also, refresh is an option, But milotic still needs a way to stall and survive, so yeah, we need to decide the last 2, of whom needs a Sp.Atk sweeper and we could go for a clericwishpasser! (If you want)
 
If I may make stupid suggestion (emphasis on stupid) how about Vileplume? Thats my favorite pokemon of all, and a pretty damn good one. It is an effective clergy, and pretty good sp.att, too. Plus he has Synthesis. But if ya'll don't like it, don't everyone jump at me at once...
 
1. I was agreeing with Paranoia about how good the Restalk thing is.
2. Vileplume is a pretty good idea, I guess. We do need a heal for status.
 
I don't think vileplume is the best decision, but here me out why, His job is done better by any other cleric, and I don't know for sure, but does he have any staying power? As in leech seed and the likes, and with synthesis, that fails if a sandstorm is in play.

Its deffently original and the best teams are always ones that make the opponent take a step back out of their protective "circle."(i've used quotation marks so much tonight, wow)
 
Hmm, what about Bellossom. Bellossom is pretty good, I've tried it. I think it has decent special defense too. It might not work in wifi battling though, because it would need a fire move.

Sorry for being Noobish or whatever the kids call it these days(aha i finally said it, nevermind) but I'm really bad with codes so explanations could help. It took me a good two week for me to figure out what DD was, and I still can't figure out STAB. If cleric isn't a shortened version of anything, I'm only bringing it up because I'm not thinking straight and i was in the Sun to much today.
 
Well, I personally use him as a Sunnybeamer, if thats what their called nowadays. The Weather is always Sunny, and my Pokes are free from pain.

My most used 'Plume, Petals, has this:

Vileplume-Black Sludge
Nature:Calm
Energy Ball
Sludge Bomb
Aromatherapy
Toxic/Stun Spore/Synthesis/Leech Seed

I have someone who knows Sunny Day to support him.


But while he molds perfectly into my team, one look showed me it wouldn't fit here.

And Excuse my cheap attempt to show off my Vileplume

And cleric is a poke with Aromatherapy or Heal Bell to recover the rest of the team's status problems.

By all means show them off, I will randomly show off my mamoswine in a future post, lols, anyway EVs and now for an RMT, Get SLUDGE BOMB OUT OF THAT MOVESET, and teach it something else, Poison fails as an attacking type, so yeah, re-consider that move, and you could have toxic and synthesis, so you get MAX Hp recovery and you can status them, except you want to switch out on hera as he is asking for a status.

Don't worry about it, I am always happy to help people out, anyway STAB means Same type attack bonus, which gives a 1.5x the attacking power, so if it was fire blast and charizard was using it, it would have a + 60 to the 120 = 180 power instead of 120.

A cleric is a team healer, as they will always have the move aromatherapy which clears the whole team of status effects, and the wish passer is when they pass on wishes, through means of BP OR somersault. (I think it passes)
 
OH, I GET IT!!! Thanks, I was a bit conflicted on his moves (hence the four-moves-on-final-moveslot) But I was a bit confused on him, honestly.

But lets get back to topic, we strayed a bit too far off.

Thanks for the help, i'm not as stupid as i appear, I know exactly what a lot of those are just didn't know the abbreviations. ^Just needed to defend myself from my own dissing of myself.

Actually, I think it was the topic. Which Pokemon we need for a cleric or whatever.
 
Well, regardless, we ruled out Vileplume, though we voted he's the best *shuts ears and yells*.
How about Roserade? With Natural Cure, she could be useful. But please, no Blissey.

She is awsome but overused and we want to use all our skills, I have to go too pretty soon, sorry for being so incredibly unhelpful and annoying today, my next point will be a serious opinion for the better of the team.
