Oh, right. How 'bout Fire Fang? I always felt it funny, a Salamence with no fire move.

Oh and Vainz, it could be helpful if you reposted the team, preferably at the end of the page.
 
If we do need a Fire attack on Salamence wouldnt Flamethrowe be a better choice?

Flamethrower - 95 base damage 100% accuracy
Fire Fang - 65 base damage 95% accuracy
 
Flamethrower doesn't get anything from Dragon Dance though. After a DD, Fire Fang will be as strong as Flamethrower, if not stronger.
 
Fire Fang it is then only because we got DD in there.
 
That's what I figured. What will we lose for it?
 
Punishment thouhgt it was a good idea for us to have Ninjask instead of Scizor. I kept Scizor, but if any of you feel like this is a bad choice, just post why.

If everyone agrees to that Salamence, then that is his move set. If Salamence is our last pokemon, and we are going against a pokemon who knows ice moves, we are probably screwed. But you could go through are whole team and say, "well what if Milotic is our last pokemon, and we're up aganist a Electivire, or what if our last pokemon is the Scizor, and were up against a Magmortar?" Some pokemon dont have defense against their weaknessess. We cant help that. We will just have to rely on DD.

What's the best thing to take off Salamence for Fire Fang though? I can't pick.
 
Sry guys. I finished typing all that stuff when you made all those posts. What will we get rid of for fire fang then?
 
I guess I say Earthquake. Dragon Claw and Aerial Ace get STAB. After a few DDs, Dragon Claw might do something to rock types.
 
Get rid of Aerial Ace. It's base damage is 60 I think and Earthquake is 100. Earthquake covers more ground. Pardon the pun. Hurts Metagross and Tyranitar.

As for Milotic what are we shooting for? Her EVs and nature depends on her role. Will she be more of a physical wall, special wall, even a dual wall or a suprise special sweeper?
 
We dont need Fire Fang. Think about it. What are the pokemon the most often get Ice attacks? Milotic is the most common. Water pokemon often use Ice Beam. There for, a fire attack would probably not protect Salamence from an ice attack.
 
But why would we keep Salamence in with a Milotic? The reason I chose Fire Fang over Thunder Fang is because of a pesky Steel types who resist dragon and Skarmory who avoids Earthquake. (Even though Thunder Fang can work here.)

Thunder Fang doesnt do much because people are running Milotic at max defense. Even after one DD it only does about 50%. She knows Recover and most like has Leftovers. This is a situation where Sala,emce should flee as one Ice Beam from a Milotic can KO it. But then again why would we keep a Salamence in with a Milotic?
 
The only problem is that Skarmory would not hurt from a Fire Fang very much because of its Def. Mabye we should give Porygon-Z a fire attack instead.
 
Well then that goes back to the Flamethrower arguement. Whatever we do decide to stick too, it has to be fire.
 
I think we should make a change on Porygon-Z.

Instead of Dark Pulse, we give him Flamethrower.
We give Scizor Night Slash instead of X-Scissor and Iron Head incase we need to kill a ghost. Agree or Disagree?

Also, we need to decide what kind of Milotic we will have. Do we want a Def and Sp.Def wall or a Sp.Def wall and Sp.Sweeper? Please post your opinion.
 
Don't we need Nasty Plot in there somewhere? We could make him a monster, if we could pull it off. Or is it to standard?
 
I am afraid that he wouldnt be able to survive after using Nasty Plot. He would be a really powerful Special Sweeper if we could pull it off, but he dosent have the defense to survive a lot of pokemon. An earthquake could really hurt him. We really need to keep Ice Beam to take care of those pesty Dragons. We do need a fire attack though. A LOT of people run Skarmory, and that is the only move that could really hurt him. We dont have any Sp Elec moves.
 
The current Porygon-Z moveset isn't going to work. I don't know how we decided Psychic needs to be in there but it needs to get out. Ice Beam I am okay with but we do need Nasty Plot. We arent going to use a Nasty Plot infront of something it is weak again are we?

Seeing as we lack a very viable Thunder move why not Thunderbolt on it? Tri-Attack is self explanatory.

Give Fire Fang to Salamence and we got two Pokemon down.

For Scizor I'd like ot recommend:

-Swords Dance
-Agility
-Baton Pass
-X-scissor

Why X-Scissor over Iron Head? We already have a Metagross with Meteor Mash. Why be redundant? So for diversity and to kill sweeping Psychics X-Scissor does the job.

Seeing as we have alot of physical walls (Dusknoir, Metagross and Scizor can also play these roles) we need a potent Special Wall. So I say Milotic goes with more of a Special Wall role.
 
Heh, I mentioned that Scizzor moveset earlier. So how are we gonna pull off this Nasty Plot? Couldn't we pull off Iron Defence-pass?
