And I know it's not an option, but I'd like to get rid of Dusknoir, but not for Rhyperior (for the reasons I mentioned earlier)

Rhyperior works well on Trick Room teams, which means he doesn't work too well on one without Trick Room

EDIT: Maybe if we could get Sandstorm on this team, then Rhyperior could work. Plus Garchomp gets a hand with the Evasion boost, Metagross and Claydol are immune, so that just leaves Milotic and Togekiss to worry about.

I meant Claydol has high sp.def. We were talking about him at the time.
 
Oh, sry sims796. So do you think that Rypherior is a good idea?
 
Rhyperior sounds nice. Solid choice there.
 
Hmm I tried out Dusknoir in competitive battling and he isnt so great. Rhypherior is a good choice but I want to scout a bit for other choices.
 
Well here is what I think we should have in there(the ultimate garchomp and salamence counter)

Swampert@leftovers
Impish Nature
Ev's 252 hp/252 defense/6 attack
curse/waterfall/roar
stealth rock
avalanch
earthquake

This is mainly just to stealth rock and avalanch for garchomp and salamence and if you have curse it is for mainly attack but it helps for defense also. I like this one because an earthquake or dragon claw from slamence or garchomp does around 50 dmage if I calculated right and that hardly dents swamperts health.
 
ok ooka 100, we will get to that, but right now we need to focus on what we will do with Dusknoir. If we do replace him, it will have to be with another wall. I really have not been getting any feedback on this topic, so please vote. Here are your choices again

Keep Dusknoir

Get Rypherior

Get rid of Dusknoir for something else other than Rypherior
 
Get Rhyperior, though I feel uneasy without a Ghost type.
 
I vote for get rid of Dusknoir for something else other than Rypherior but if we can't keep him in.
 
Rhyperior is OK, though I suggest a wall in both stats.

These are legendaries, but still suggestions: Regis and Cresselia.

Shuckle, Bronzong, and Bastiodon if you are going defense too.

I'd say no Rhyperior.

Either stick with one of these choices or stick with Dusk, IMO
 
I say yes to bronzong, I guess bastiodon would be okay, and there is way too low health on shuck so I say no for that one.
 
If you're lucky enough to grab an Attract of Shuckle, then use Power Trick... then WOW!!! Rest is standard on it, so it can recover well.
 
I just don't like Shuckle or Bastiodon.. or much of anything with low HP. Bronzong or Rhyperior both sound good, and I like having a steel type, and two is even better, despite the added weakness, because of Metagross.
 
I have recently found a new loving for tangrowth as a wall, I fought Aragornbird's today and I almost didn't beat it(I did beat the Aragornbird though and I'm so happy) But it managed to take down my gallade, salamence and garchomp. I killed it with my espeon thank god.
 
My vote is to get Rhyperior. Rhyperior has always been good for me in the battle tower, even if it wasn't wifi battle tower, and I have more experience with him than with Dusknoir. In fact I have no experience with Dusknoir. But anyway, I made a trainer card for the team so far. This is the official team, since we didn't make the change from Dusknoir yet. Here it is.

I wouldnt mind a Bronzong, but Punishment, what is your reason for not wanting Rypherior. You just said you dont want him, which is kind of strange. Shuckle is no good. His low HP makes him worthless. Swampert isnt really the best wall we could pick, but i do think that is a good choice against the dragons. If many of you dont want Rypherior, then we could try Bronzong.
 
I have more experience with Rhyperior, but Bronzong and Swampert also sound like really good ideas. My vote is still for Rhyperior, but I'm happy and fine with it if you guys pick something else. I just don't really trust stuff with low HP. >_<
 
Sorry if I'm missing something, but if we're talking about walls then why no mention of Steelix?
