Yeah, but DDnite could kill it with TP in about 4 seconds.

Basically, Floatzel is good, but not the best.
 
i like dragonite, he has a very large amount of moves to learn, he also has a way to gain speed, not like garchomp
 
Um Garchomp can get Dragon Dance by egg moves, that counts... And the team now is

Dragonite(beiung debated)

And Dragonite and Garchomp are sort of equal, but looking at the facts, Dragnoite versus Garchomp, Dragonite will probably win in a battle.

It doesnt get Dragon dance, but that is why Choice Scarf was made for it .

Also how can you compare them in that aspect ?

If Garchomp vs Dragonite with no DD's under its belt, then Garchomp wins hands down with Outrage.

With DD' Under its belt obviously Draggy wins.

Dragonite gets my vote.

Trait: Inner Focus
Adamant/Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
- Outrage. Come on, people, both are viable options. But I think Dnite get's the win most definently. It does have variaty of moves to choose from it's movepool.

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sand Veil
Hasty/Naive Nature
- Stone Edge
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake. This one has the better speed. Maybe I should change DNite, To Scarfchomp. :P

Which is why you run Fire blast on the same moveset, and you never use Outrage early in a match, you save it for late game sweeps when Skarmory/Random Physical wall is D.E.A.D.


Outrage just about pwns their whole team once their physical wall is gone/ Anything that resists it.

@ Itachi Lonely or Naughty on Scarf Chomp, its already fast enough with the Scarf on it lol
 
This argument will go on forever probably. They're both solid Pokemon. Hmmm, anyone have a Dragonite of the basic set and a Garchomp of the basic set and do level 100 1 on 1 battle, that'll prove it, but still not the best option, discussion works too...

That still wouldnt work things out to prove who is better.

They have both different jobs, Dragonite is to DD and sweep and Scarf chomp is a revenge killer, get im wreck the hell out of things and then get the hell out again.

I have both pokemon on my Diamond cart. Maybe I could trade you one of them, and we could have a Wi-fi match?
 
Really...Garchomp is so dang predictable. Dragonite really is better IMO...and doesn't get toasted by EQ :/
 
Dragonite has two things that Chomp doesnt have

1. A superior Movepool
2. It can Dragon Dance

Garchomp has two things aswell

1. It doesnt need Dragon Dance to get its speed up to a scary level with the scarf.
2. It resists Thunderwave and is not weak to rock.



The question we need to ask ourselves is which would benefic the whole team more. Its all a matter of preference as they are both pretty level in comparison.

Basing on this post, we don't have a Stats Upper, but we have an Attacker. Dragonite, now that I see, would be beneficial.
