Debate The big "A" "K" handwriting debacle

That's probably for the best I have seen vitriol like never before from some of the users in this thread over the letter k

The first a and k. Though my handwriting is a bit loopy, so it's almost none of the above.

The first a and second k work better in a cursive style. The "balloon" helps you staying in the writing flow. In combination with other letters that have a similar way of using "balloons" (b, l, ...) this makes the words look more beautiful.

But with block writing being so popular these days the beauty of cursive is lost to the ages and instead we went back to the barbarian age where even the letters need to be tough looking for some reason. :P
