QUINCIES AREN'T EXTINCT WAHAHAHA

Cool. This new quincy guy seems interesting (his face reminds me of Grimmjow, somehow) and can't wait to see who those guys in the placebo effect masks are.

Oh, and I read it on manga-access. Mangastream and other similar sites removed Bleach from their db due to all jump mangas being licensed.

I like how Ishida, the Quincy, is the one to ask if he's an Arrancar. And they're so casual about him too XD

I'm guessing Ichigo is just taking him out of Karakura in case they need to fight.

He seemed annoyed when he mentioned Arrancar. So I'm guessing the Hollow/Quincy thing is still there with these guys.

The disappearing village and the footprints just make it look like the Quincies are attacking the spirits/wholes/pluses/whatever they're actually called. Not really much else I think can be read into that.

My first thought was Kidou Corps XD
It's a very... strange thing that they're doing, just going up to them and declaring war. But the seven of them are probably Captain level.

A bunch of masked people just walked in through Yamamoto's office? :P They're either very skilled sneakers, or Soul Society's defence sucks.
Does the barrier surrounding that place that made things so difficult for Ichigo in the SS arc not exist any more or what?
I thought the Kido corps at first, too. But Getting the feeling it's Quincy-related :V

That; or its a temporary hiatus while they let the manga get a little farther ahead. in the anime they've almost finished wrapping up the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc, and with the Thousand Year Blood War arc only just kicking off, you don't have all that much stuff to work with least you come up with a set of fillers on the spot..which wouldn't work well with this show. what you need is a filler arc like the Zanpakuto Unknown Tales; that was awesome.

Also, another case. if anyone remembers the Anime for Inuyasha, that one wrapped up with a non-cannon ending, went on Hiatus for an extended period and then came back with The Final Act, which showed off the manga's ending. there's little to no doubt in my mind that this Hiatus is exactly what's going to happen. Besides! we still got the manga after all; don't let this be such a let down.

and wait, what..they're moving forward with the live action film?.........oh, GOD no. not after the failure that was Dragonball Evolution. don't mean to go off topic here, but we've seen the result of a live adaptation of an anime/manga series. it just doesn't work.
