Well that was pretty cool. Zaraki "rejuvenated" would be nice, but on the other hand it'd be a real shame were to die by his hand (before we even get to see her bankai or anything).

I really like this chapter. This is Kubo at some of his finest, imo.
Unohana reveals through an inner monologue that even thought she's infamously the the strongest Kenpachi, Zaraki is still stronger than her.
Kubo also tied it in nicely with previous parts of the the manga.
Zaraki seems at first glance to just be a simple, battle loving brute, but in reality he's a deeper character than that.

Zaraki's odd visions from the previous chapter are explained.
Unoahana is killing him and then reviving him, which explains Zaraki's lose of consciousness.
Each time he's revived, Zaraki is getting a bit stronger and more deadly.
I wonder if Kyoraku knew that this is what Unohana was going to do...

The revelation about Kenpachi's true strength kind of reminds me Orihime and Ulquiorra.
Please keep up the good work Kubo!

Her bankai (Minazuki) appears to be... taking all the blood, putting it on her sword, (obviously heightened strength), and possibly that whole skeleton-thingy? Not too sure.

Aww man maybe Unohana really IS gone? She's shown her bankai... I can't tell anymore.

Kyōraku will probablyexplain the bankai, but the whole thing was pretty cool, even though the entire thing got pretty transparent and got me thinking "yes, yes, just let it happen already", hahaha.
Once again, sad to have braid woman gone, but Super-Saiyan Zaraki will always be fun.

But in his fight with Nnoitra he could use both hands and be totally badass. Why didn't he do that against her, going all out and all?

This better turn out like Byakuya's death, rather than Starrk or Harribel's (yes I know she's still alive).

Renji shown as his "friend to playfully bicker with". Implying he'd care about a traitor who is massively weaker than himself.

What does this mean? I'm guessing Ichigo never used an Asauchi like other Shinigami as his power was injected to him by Rukia meaning he missed a crucial step in the development process? If he did he would have had a stronger bond with Zangetsu and his sword wouldn't have broken?

"Not some Zanpakutoless human, go where you fit in"

Probably means he'll go and ask Isshin, Ryuken or the fullbringers for help. If he does go down the Quincy route I bet his bow will fire Getsuga Tenshous. Would be even better if he went back to his Karate club roots and had Tatsuki become his next trainer. Yes, the next hundred chapters of Bleach will be a sports manga!

Anyway, liking where this is going. Certainly didn't expect him to suddenly fail, but this means he can go elsewhere and have the coming chapters be about something potentially more awesome than just magically getting his zanpakuto back.

Ichigo is an experiment of unlimited potential, like the Hogyouku but in human form. His ability is to adapt and survive, he is simply a big ball of instinct that absorbs everything around him. His first sword was so basic because the only one he had seen was Rukia's, it improved second time round after gaining experience fighting with Renji and losing to Byakuya. The thing with his "mum" (Probably a set up, what better way to give someone a protecting nakama fetish), fights with hollows, the menos and later the chain in the shattered shaft introduced him to those abilities which he would appear in him when he needs. His only attacks are ones that Isshin has, he picked them up subconsciously whilst living in the Kurosaki houshold for all those year. His bankai looks and works differently to everyone else's as he obtained it not really knowing much about it, he only really knew it would boost his power and that's all it does. He gains the mask after training with the masks, he gains fullbring after training with fullbringers, that is how he works. The only thing he won't be able to obtain is the thing all of his actions seem to be based on, that of course being

the fact that he really got his Shinigami powers back. Kinda thinking this current appearance really is just an awakened form of his fullbring. I don't believe Zangetsu would have been broken that easily pre timeskip.

Those are some interesting theories Lapras.
But it seems like we can never be truly certain about Kubo's ideas.
Kubo has been kind of cryptic with the true nature of Ichigo's powers and how they originated this whole time.

I'm more upset about his cliffhanger on Zaraki's end.
Typical Kubo to be the ultimate tease.
He could have at least given us a name, or a face, or even a silhouette. :/

After reading Viz's official translation, I wanted to share a part with you guys.

On the last page, Ōetsu's script seems more clear in the Viz translation.

"You're not there yet, Ichigo.
You don't understand what it means...
that you have been able to come this far without having an Asauchi.
You gotta go back, yo. Back to your roots.
You gotta learn about your past.
Even if knowing your roots means you can never return."

Mangastream's translation seems to allude that Ichigo just needs to relearn some skills.
But Viz's translation plays more to his murky origins.

I wasn't sure if I should spoiler this or not, since most people might not have access to this until it comes out in volume format...
