In the manga, I'm at chapter 136 I believe? I haven't read much ever since going to University though.

In the anime...eh. I think It was at episode 40 when they probably moved it to a later time when I have to go asleep. X3

As Rasencero said, be wary of spoilers. That, and I suggest jumping to the subs when/if you catch up with the anime (as I assume you're already reading scanlations?)

Any idea what will happen next in the Bleach manga? (Keep in spoilers!)

Ha, I'm the one who "spoils" it for me anime-only sister (and by that, I mean lying about what happens).

Any idea what will happen next in the Bleach manga? (Keep in spoilers!)

Spoiler:

I'm pretty confident that the smaller arc will be a TBtP II but showing most of these guys and Isshin and such.

After that, we'll go to Bleach Z, where we see what has happened over, maybe a few months or a few years of Ichigo losing his powers. It's a bit of a weird ordering, I think Kubo's done.

We see that he can't see souls anymore, which implies that it's the end of the Aizen fiasco (until he comes back) especially since we're having a break; it's unlikely that he'll post 2 or 3 more chapters on this and then have a flashback.

But at the same time, there are still some small things that need to be cleared up; Nel and co., Grimmjow, the bodies that Mayuri found in Szayel's lab, etc. Like mentioned before, they probably won't be shown after the break, or after the flashback arc.

It's weird.

I was thinking Ichigo would get his powers back. I mean, this isn't really the first time he has lost his Shinigami powers, right? >_>
Also, Chances are Isshin has used a similar ability, yet he uses a zanpakuto, and it's possible that he has lost the ability to use its shikai and bankai.
