I think it's the other way around; FGT=Final Getsuga Tenshou=Attack

We don't actually know what Mugetsu DID exactly. We saw a massive black cloud-thingy, then Ichigo came out and he was losing his powers, and Aizen was wounded too. It may have been the attack which directly caused him to lose his powers, or he may have lost them indirectly. Another thing, though, is that Tensa Zangetsu refers to Ichigo losing his powers if he learns the Final Getsuga Tenshou- not if he uses Mugetsu. So I think we can assume that Mugetsu isn't what caused him to lose his powers.

And I don't see how that wa a contradiction. In a similar way, in a DBZ game (Budokai 3 to be specific) Goku can go SSJ4, and in that stage, he can use a special "Kamehameha x4" which can ONLY be used in that form. It's similar here.

I've always thought it was clear as anything that FGT is a technique which turns him into Getsuga, and Mugetsu is the strongest attack in that form. Mugetsu is like a very, very big Getsugatenshou, I think.

Mugetsu itself is not what changed his clothes- the FGT did. After he used it, he wore out his powers, and started losing his Shinigami powers (if that makes sense).

But Mugetsu being more powerful version of his normal GTs is probably what it's like.

I think it's that new main guy, or Chad, now, actually. Chad uses his fists to protect, and in this case Ishida is down by quite a few people.

I see, then I had misunderstood what you were trying to say.

It's probably because we've just had the Aizen arc a few weeks ago. After the whole, ascending to the level of a God and then beating him, it's pretty calm and relaxed now. And the first few chapters are usually just building up to the story, before the actual plot starts.

Agreed, I don't think we will see a lot of action the coming chapters. Not like the ones we have gotten used to. It will be hard to get the story back on the level of having God like powers quickly, since Ichigo has no powers at all. Except for his super human strenght and reflexes, of course.

I've been wanting Tatsuki to have a more important part in the story for ages now. I mean if Orihime can be of the slightest bit of use i'm sure Tatsuki can. Also she's got a mullet now so she's bound to be important xD
