I just really love that quote so much. Because in a war, it's never simply "good versus evil", and that line makes everything seem a lot... grey vs grey. A lot of these soldiers probably look up to Juha Bach in a similar way that they look up to Yamamoto; which I think is really really nice.

Yamamoto has a thing for burning up three people in one go, no?

Juha Bach has a sword? Perhaps a zanpakutou?

OH MAN BANKAI THIS WILL BE GOOD. I think he maybe might try and just burn everything before he can steal it? Or perhaps he's banking on the thought that his reiatsu is so massive and his flames so powerful that trying to steal it would be too difficult/impossible? Maybe his bankai is like Ichigo's stoic phase where he "converted reiatsu into pure strength" or something.

I like how you said probably :p Butyeah, that's why I was brainstorming a couple of ideas of what he could do.
Perhaps he's playing with Juha Bach's arrogance? Then again, there's a fine line between arrogance and stupidity, and if JB doesn't even attempt to seal it, I'll be annoyed.

And yeah, I can easily see this dragging on a few dozen pages.

Although, it feels like Kubo just pulled another moment like Kensei vs. Wonderweiss from back in the FKT war...
Stern Ritter "U" was last seen about to fight with Rose, but now he randomly shows up to attack Yamamoto.
What the hell happened to his fight with Rose, and what happened to Rose?! D:
It just feels like Kubo is moving too fast with this arc.

But then at the end of the chapter, Yamamoto goes bankai and I'm just like...

I really have to say, I like the font choice that Mangastream uses for the really heavy dialogues; I imagine Yamamoto's really gruff heavy voice and it just really adds to Kubo's more... menacing drawings of the characters.

I also like how everyone across the seireitei is feeling his power. Though I wonder how Hitsugaya himself knows this exactly? I figure they would have told him, but he hasn't actually experienced it himself.

Cutting a rock and... splitting open the ground. Bloody hell.

I like how his sword was just cleanly cut in half. Very nice.

I want to see how Juha Bach responds to this...

Here's my basic reaction to Yamamoto's bankai.

It's neat to see how the Head Captain's bankai is effecting the environment.
But I have a feeling this effect will be shown in greater detail later.

Pfft, yeah right. There are quite a few zanpakuto like that. *rolls eyes*

I don't quite understand the "west" ability of Yamamoto's bankai, Zanji-tsugoki.
Is it like a cloak of flames that he uses as armor?

Okay, so the very reason shinigami fight the quincy in the first place is that they eradicate things without a trace.

Old guy's bankai... LET'S ERADICATE THINGS WITHOUT A TRACE! Also insanely hot super flame armor and you're killing the entire dimension you're fighting in.

It's superbly powerful though. It's what we would expect, definitely.

The way I saw it, both East and West were initiated upon activation. East was concentrating his flames on the edge of his sword (and I think when he said "East" it was physically revealed?), and West is when his body is engulfed in flames (and when he said "West", we could see it).

Though, if you're stating that seriously, it's more that Quincies eradicate hollows in particular. Yamamoto has his normal zanpakutou, shikai, and kidou that could still purify hollows, and he rarely uses bankai.

Not going to spoiler, since it's all been aired on US television - but yes he is. (That's actually Kon in the corner, not Ichigo). From what we learn from that scene, he was a former Captain (which we know from the remnants of his Haori) though we don't know what squad.

So not only does yamamoto's sword destroy everything it touches, a flame cloak of a massive 15 000 000 °C that makes him intouchable and with a huuuuuge constant AoE damage over time, but he can ALSO summon an army of, according to the ability's name, 10 000 000 000 000 undead of the people he have killed himself. And he still has an ability left.

This is feeling a liiitle bit OP. It feels like Kubo will be killing him off very soon. Or, well, I hope he will, or there won't be much of a plot left. :P

Would've been great if he had used this against Aizen though.

Thought it may be useful for Bleach fans to know if they own a PS3 they will be airing the series plus the movies on a 24/7 anime channel called Neon anime only for PS3 users. (I know most watch anime online but if anyone is like me and hate doing that just thought they would like to know.)

Head-Captain Helios deflects any attack Juhabach throws at him.

Ooh~ a new Quincy spell!
I don't think he used a Ginto.
Juhabach called it a kirchenlied; manga says it means "holy hymn", Google says "church song".
It's not on the Bleach wiki yet.
I really hope we get to see some more kirchenlied spells.
I hate how fast Kubo is going with the pace of this arc. :/

Another new technique, this time for Yamamoto's bankai,; Zanka no tachi, South.
And this one summons burnt skeleton soldiers!
So now Yamamoto has necromancer powers. xD
Can't wait to see them in action.

I wonder which is stronger, Yamamoto's skeleton soldiers or Starrk's Soul Wolves...

I know right? Why the hell didn't Yamamoto use even one of his bankai techniques against Aizen?
Is it because Aizen was a former Captain Soul Reaper?
Aizen seems like just as much of a threat, if not more, than Juhabach.
It's really leaving me disappointed in Kubo...
