Someone misinterpreted what I just said.

Sealed form = plain old sword
Released = shikai and above
 
I know what you meant and what I am saying is that I am not sure is Digi is right, because if he can just extend his sealed sword, then there is no Shikai.

Shinsou's the name. He's used it three times now I believe. Once on Ichigo and Jidanbou, another on Toshiro, and lastly he hit Byakuya with it during the end of the Soul Society arc.

No we have been saying he hasn't even shown his shikai yet.

No. It's his shikai. I was referring to Renji's post about Gin never even releaseing his sword yet.

And I really don't see why you guys don't think it's his shikai. Renji's shikai changes the size and shape of Zabimaru and it's clearly a shikai, so why not Gin's?
 
Because if a captain can freely alter the shape of their Zanpaktou, then its not a Shikai, its just its sealed state. Also, as Renji said, he would have said the name of his sword.
 
He (Gin) did say the name of his sword.

"Shoot to death, Shinsou." (DB and others might say Spear God instead)

Watch episode 22 at 4:40 onwards (the time point in the episode).
Watch episode 48 at 7:20 onwards.
Watch episode 62 at 9:50 onwards.

...THe little seek bar (whether it's a bar or not varies from player to player) at the bottom of your media player (where it is varies from player to player)...all media players come with one. If yours doesn't...get a better one.
 
I know the time bar and have one on all the media players I have I am just wondering why you are keeping track of the exact time in which he said it. Even still, if that is tuly what you can call a Shikai, then it isn't impressive at all.
 
Well most bars come with a thing on the side that tells the time...
 
I KNOW WHAT IT IS, you don't see a problem with you trying to use in your arguement the exact minutes and secinds he says what it is?! That was what I was holding back. Now that I have got that out of the way, we need a new topic. Who is the best mod soul? I like Nova the most.

meh, if he continues to use that in the Aran-kar arc then it is. He HAS been on Aizen's side since the beginnig so meh. trickery, deceit, and all that stuff...especially with that sinister face makes me suspicious XD

Not only that, his wakizashi Zanpaktou's length seems to have extended to that of a normal Zanpaktou during his fight with Toushirou XD

continuing on the ban kai discussion:
not sure yet, but would you think Yumichika (AKA pretty boy) has ban kai (yet)? though i think he's still training for it it'd be amusing to see what his ban kai would be...already has Soul Power Draining
Then there's Soi Fong's she already has the 2-hit kill, and i doubt 1-hit kill is the Ban Kai ability
Another wonder: Could the Vaizards/Aran Kar/Aizen's little shinigami-hollows (Tousen, Aizen & Gin) have an additional form to stack onto the Ban Kai

dunno i think of strange things when i'm tired XD
