My favorite would have to be Volcarona. I love bug types but not bugs in real life... Bug Pokemon are just sooo adorable compared to their real life counterparts. :)

Anyways, I'll join! My favorite would have to be Butterfree, Scizor, or Volcarona. Beedrill would be a close second though! You can make my Pokemon a Butterfree though, why not. :)

My favourite Bug Pokemon has got to be Volbeat I must say. I've always had a soft spot for it ever since I bred an awesome and and then I taught it Thunderpunch and it was amazing. I even once used it in the Battle Frontier with a friend and they wondered why it was so strong. :D

What's your favorite starter Bug type Pokemon?
By starter Bug Pokemon, I mean Weedle, Caterpie, Wurmple, Kricketot, Sewaddle, Venipede and of course, their evolution. I didn't know what to call them so yeah...:(

My favorite has got to be Dustox. I used it in my Sapphire Nuzlocke and it walled everything. I love the typing, and the fact it can learn Psychic type moves makes life so much easier for it. It's hard to take down, and is pretty annoying. Plus it's cute, just not as cute as Beedrill. :<

What's your favorite starter Bug type Pokemon?
As mentioned before, I love Butterfree. I've always basically loved Butterflies, and thus it was pretty much instant love for Butterfree when I set my eyes on it. Ash's Butterfree didn't help, and neither did Yellow's (PokeSupe) either. I've never used it in battle because Butterfree I love more for it's simple design than it's battling abilities, but perhaps someday I should put Butterfree on a team just for the heck of it. Beautifly would be a close second I guess, but Butterfree takes the cake just slightly.

Bug types scare the heck outta Misty! Heck I'm joinin! With Caterpie as my partner!

My favorite bug types would definitely have to be Caterpie, Scizor and Scyther.
Here's wear I have to disagree with Misty - CATERPIE IS SUCH A CUTIE :3 I mean who can say no to that face except Misty:D

Also loved Yellow's Kitty when it was still a Caterpie:

Guess that also sorta answered my question for the next topic xD

I know ... weird obsession with Caterpie but as for Scyther and Scizor. I always have a thing for speed, that's what caught my eye with Scyther. Was pretty sad that when Scyther evolves into Scizor it's speed goes down.
Though the scizor who battled Celebi in Pokemon 4ever really caught my eye even if Ash's bayleef beat him :/

What's your favorite starter Bug type Pokemon?
Volbeat I've always had a soft spot for Beautifly, to be honest. Ever since my first time using it in Ruby I've always had something for it. It's a real powerhouse especially early on in Hoenn against Roxanne and Brawly to say the least. I'd even consider going on with more runs with a Beautifly, because it's just so awesome.

Also if Ariados counts can I say that one as well? Ariados always looks cool and has some nice moves to go along with that. It's speed is lackluster but it's still cool. I also like Ledian's design. <3

I gotta join, I love bug type Pokemon! My favorite would be Volcarona, but I also love Illumise, Parasect, Yanmega, Galvantula, and Heracross. If we can only pick a partner that isn't picked yet, I'll go with Illumise. ^^

They make Ariados seem so fast in the anime especially on webs. Though I guess it's just stringshot slowing the opponent down making it look faster xD
At least it has a decent attack power

But I do like all of the starters, I don't hate anyone of them.

Spinarak was an epic pain in crystal, I'd be training up my Cyndaquil against Pidgeys and Rattata and they'd just pop out and annoy the heck outta me by using poison sting - especially when I had no antidotes on me :/

Ahhh, Ledian. ;^; The last time I played Colosseum (which wasn't too long ago) I almost whited-out trying to catch that damn thing. I love Ledian but jesus it just wouldn't get into the ball. Heracross is awesome though; it was one of the members on my team before I stopped playing because I had to do on vacation and everything. He helped a lot during the last boss battle I faced before I stopped playing.

Yeah, I think it should have stayed Poison/Bug or even became a Dark/Bug type. That's a interesting type combination. :o

What is one bug type Pokémon you love, but wouldn't like to see in real life?
I like Scolipede, but if I saw one in real life I would be scared for my life since it is 8 ft in length. o-o That's one big bug.
