hehehe *weak laugh* *throws DS across room* xD That was so stupid though! How could I not know, I figured since Nightblade couldn't neither could Boogles. I was wrong, and I thought *insert annoying move that killed lots of my team* was normal but it wasn't.

Sabaku - I hadn't posted it right away because I wanted people to go over it like you did just now.

The clauses aren't there because I expect people to follow all of them, they are there because I want to have a resource for people to look at. Oftentimes I when I am making a battle thread I wonder 'Hmm, what were all the clauses again?' The only ones I would expect to be in place when exact rules are unspoken are are Sleep, Evasion, OHKO, Species, and Uber, as most people do when they say 'the usual rules'.

As for a trade thread I suppose we could, I don't know how popular it would be though. Same with the academy (which I assume is sort of a Q&A thread for new players?). If you are willing to start the effort we can see how it goes. While I really shouldn't contribute to the trade thread nor have much reason to (ARDS), other members might get some use out it.

Making you a recruiter is fine by me. As for being an event coordinator I think we will basically manage that on an event by event basis, where the coordinator basically is the person who is running the event. I don't think we will have such a flood of event proposals from members that I would have to have delegate the work to someone else but we will see. I wouldn't mind handing off that responsibility if you really want to take it on, but I would like to also like to at least give my input on the events proposed.

...Eh? I'm not sure what you mean by that. I know the name but I don't who Queen Latifa is so I don't really get the joke...
 
you dont know who queen latifa is!!!!?!?!?!?!?!? She's a exceptionally large black woman who is really funny and with a badass attitude.

But the joke stems to the fact that her stage name is "Queen" Latifa.

Anyway, by coordinator, I figure that we all vote on what we should have as our event, then I will create a separate thread? (For a Clan Tournament) Just so this place doesn't get cluttered with "I PMed him/her. I'm here. Just posting to show I'm active" ect. Plus the main post will keep the brackets and such. Before and tournament though, we need more active clan members.

The trade thread: I can't be the manager of that considering I don't EV train, IV breed, shiny hunt, or just about anything for that matter. I wouldn't have anything of use except TMs.

Academy: I'll have to get it approved by a mod first because I have a feeling if I didn't it'll be closed. xD What we would do it teach people strategies, EV training, IV breeding. You know what I mean? And then we give them weekly (or bi-weekly) homework of EV training one or multiple pokemon. Then for the final exam (once they have a workable team), the teacher will battle the student and the teacher will be like a recruiter.

Now I get the Clauses. xD

I could go for a basic tourney right about now, plus I bet it would have battlers join our clan just for it. Like an exclusive sorta thing.
 
oh, great school. Mabey you should require new members to attend a class? That way top trainers can be molded. Unless if course they pass the test without the class. But i'm taking it from my standpoint, i could be wrong here.
 
Well people that are in the "Clan" currently don't have to go through school. And how long it will take for the person to be admitted into the "Clan" will matter how eager they are to join (instead of them taking an entire week or two to get one of their six pokemon complete, they could do all in one week and be ready for the exam)

So I think you're in the "Clan" already Umanouski, but I can't remember if you battled a recruiter yet. (A recruiter will be a teacher)

Well, I PM-ed Loquacity about the Academy, because I think it will fit in the Strategies and Moveset section the most. Pray that it'll be good!

i battled Ooka for my entrance exam. And i never really learned to EV train
 
In that case, you may want to join the Academy...xD Unless you want to go read a EV training guide somewhere. I'm not sure if there is one here though.

i tried those guides but i just dont understand it. I am a old school trainer. I still hold the beat-em-up Red/Blue/Yellow ideology. I am a old-school trainer.
