Yeah you're right. Shedinja is probably the worst.
Spiritomb is a ghost, right? It's probably awesome in battle, but its looks..... no, that's not a pokémon, that's a Missingno. or something. Ugly as crap.

I would think Spiritomb because even know that some people like Spiritomb but I don't and I don't like his face either.

Ya spiritbomb looks abit wierd, and it also has a wierd name XD. Shedinja is pretty good, and its effect is pretty good

I love Gengar too! He's the best and basic shadow ghost pokémon. Have fun with Sableye (I do have on Emerald, actually) but Gengar is the... *that-word-I-can't-write-because-it-automatically-turns-into-stars-here*

And you're probably quite right too, Nostalgia (about the last topic). Rotom... I haven't played D/P and I didn't even think it was a ghost-type. What is it's other type? It can't be all ghost, can it?
 
We seen to agree that Spiritomb is the worst one. I have seen it being used in teams, so it must be rather 'good'. But its design is really a shame for the world of Pokémon. Kinda like Mismagius... (JOKING)

Now, Does the term 'magic' fit best in the Ghost-category or the Psychic-category?
We've seen the magicians or hexes or what those trainers with hats around Lilycove in Hoenn are called... they're using ghost-types, no?
Think about the designs of Banette and Mismagius. Though, Hypno looks kinda magic too.

Yeah I think it would be the Psychic category like for Kadabra it can most of it's attack are Magic, and even know Mismagius is a ghost type but it can sort of use Magic attacks.

I think it fits in the Psychic category. It is mainly because magic is like a psychic thing and is about mind, so its mainly psychic.

True. I agree actually. Ghosts are more like, channeler stuff (like in Lavender town) but still, the psychic pokémon type is much about mental thingys like Ralts' powers and Grumpigs and so on.
That's not really what I'd call magic. ..
 
So can a alakazam beat gastly or is it Gastly that can beat alakazam.

I think that Gastly can still beat alakazam. Shadowball can really be effetice against Alakazam.

I think magic fits best in the Psychic category. Because they use Psychic abilites to attack foes. For Ghost Pokemons, they are different from them.

Is there a ghost/grass or ghost/water pokémon? I just suddenly thought of that. A ghost/water type would be some sort of pirate-spirit x) Like from a ghost ship. They flock around ships on the bottom of the sea... and some up to surface in storms, to create illusions of ghost ships and haunt seafarers. Yay! I'll go post this in some 5:gen ideas thread....

If there were Ghost/Grass they would be not sure maybe kinda Wild look from the forest, but not sure.
