16581 They are a well known walling combination. And rather effective, but I find ways around them.
 
16585 Well some legendaries aren;t allowed, those are called ubers. Those are the ones were in you add together all their base stats, its over 600, so like Mew, Mewtwo, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Dialga, Darkrai, etc. etc.
 
16587 Well Wobbufett is included as an uber, except for on Shoddy, but yeah only legendaries, there 3 Pokemon with base stats other 600 that aren;t uber Regigigas, Slaking, and Deoxys Speed Form.
 
16589 Speed Form is just because Shoddy is odd and allows it, i still think its uber, Wobbufett has a very hax moveset, which is why its allowed, and Slaking has amazing stats, but the ablity again...

I once tried training a slackoth, lol, got pissed cause of that 5000 times i had to take him to the pokecenter from that turn of not attacking...
Now i hear slaking rocks??? lol, is slakign better than some legendaries?
 
16593 No, actually Slaking is horrible because of its ability, well not horrible, but not very good in comeptitive. And you can't look at stuff on just stats level, Cresellia is a legendary, and Heracross isn't, but it has a large advantage over it.

I have a question:
In competitive battle, what is the idea...is it have high speed and attack, or lots of defense? Or both? Like, do you guys actually use moves like rain dance?
Also, are some moves never used? Like, do you guys use any 2 turn moves (such as solarbeam, sky attack...)
 
16598 I agree that tangela sucks so much. I also think that scyther, scizor, heracross, wormadam, and mothim are the only good bug type pokemon. I know tangela's a grass type.
 
16599 Well Tangrowth is pownagely awesolific. Good bug types include HEracross, Scizor, Forretress, Pinsir (to a degree), Ninjask (for baton passing reasons), and Yanmega. These are the ones that are ACTUALLY good in battle.
