A super mod can moderate any thread on PC I think.
An admin can boot out people (maybe mods can do that too) and change peoples usernames... and maybe more. ED: Yeah, like Dave said.

It's all in the FAQ, probably.

Assistant Admins - Foot soldiers w/attitudes on drugs
Staff Admins - Not really sure what they do aside from cause problems. Senor Foot soldiers.
Site Admins - Website owners and owners of PC. The officer core of PC.

In reality...

Mods: Have one or more subsections to watch. Have ability to give infractions and some have sig-editing powers.

Super Mods: Mod all of PC. Same powers as mods except universal to all forums. Often help in mod'ing sections they've mod'ed in the past. Best of the Moderator core. Often come from the most complicated sections of PC.

Assistant Admins: Junior Admin's of the forum. Formally called Prators. Have same power as super mods plus limited Admin panel access.

Staff Admins: Senior Admin's of the Staff. Often the most experienced staff on the forum. Have almost equal power to the site admin's and admin panel access.

Site Admins: Webmasters who have bought their sites on as "Community Sites". Previous staff not a requirement for entry. Are "supposed" to be the most powerful staff on PC in terms of Admin rank and Panel access. Only staff on PC that cannot be removed as staff under conventional means. Essentially, the "Owners". Master Kwesi Nkromah and PPN are the Senior owners in a sense and maintain the servers, advertising, and forums. Myself (mewthree w/armor-Seafoam Island-SIVPH all same person) and God/BGT are the Jr. owners, we lurk around and keep an eye on things to a point.

Different staff of different ranks will have separate opinions on what the ranks mean. SOME Staff Admins would disagree with the "almost equal power" line in many cases (Implying they have full powers), while myself would argue as a Site Admin I have almost no power. Some Staff Admins would disagree with me and complain the Site admins have all the power as its REALLY hard to remove a site admin. Sometimes it gets really complicated. But this is the best description I can give you of what the ranks here at PC mean.
