Well, I don't really wanna seem like a sucker or anything but..I just feel that timbjerr's hihidaruma wasn't exactly original. His work had nearly the same pose as the original. But still, his work was placed third and mine fourth.

According to twilightblade, I lost due to the fact that my entry wasn't original. It had the same pose as the official art. But I can't seem to find any difference in timbjerr's and the official art. His and my work..they're not really different. D:

Yeah I kinda had that on my mind earlier. I'm a bit of a critic so I tend to not really like art that depicts the official art too much, but I rather liked yours and it had quite a good body of shading...while I ranked that guy low for a reason. XD

Yes, and that's why I feel really bad. Mine had better shades and looked much better overall. The only thing where it lagged was the pose. But timbjerr still got through. D:

Well that's just how PC is, sort of.

Not everything turns out the way you'd always like it, but someday, you'll actually get something even better than that - no matter what it is, but it will be good. Who knows, you might win photography, you can do anything if you put your mind to it, don't let the judging hold you back, and just keep drawing, improve, and next time, win. And don't give up :)

Eh, you'd come across that sort of thing from time to time, there will be people who have double standards and it can get you on your toes for a while, but it's all a matter of knowing when to complain about it while you try to cope with it.
