Well, I'm almost done with half the semester, but then we have matriculation examination (did I even get that right?) in two of my most hated subjects: History and literature. I also failed terminology class last year, well I passed with 2 points above the required but I still have to do it again. Honestly I've got no idea why I'm being taught my first language, along with crap nobody cares about. I mean even these people who smuggled themselves aboard a ship or something can make a sentence with a subject and an adjective, so what the hell.

About you learning your first language; that happens with everyone. I honestly don't think it's pointless; whatever job you will take, you have to know your language very well and must know how to speak in different levels. Of course you won't have a speech in front of 100 people or so and talk like you were talking to a very close friend. The more you know about your language, the better, believe me.
