Alright, it's been a long time since I've authored a role-play on here so my skills might be a TAD bit rusty.

The Cult [PG-16]​

"I have managed to seal away that horrible beast with the help of Regice, Registeel, and Regirock. I will assign 8 spirits to guard the three because if that horrid monster escapes then we are all doomed. "

Congratulations on just turning 15. You are now eligible to get your first Pokémon! Pretty sweet, right? I mean you can go on your very own adventure and make lots of friends along the way. The Hoenn region has entered an age of prosperity, the economy is thriving and Team Magma and Team Aqua have long since disbanded, so everything is quite peaceful...

Or is it?​

Under all the prosperity lies a looming threat. Horrible crimes are being committed by a new crime syndicate who merely call themselves, "The Cult". Many of the crimes they have committed they cannot be charged with because the police have no substantial proof that they committed the crime. Many even debate it's very existence but most just don't want to acknowledge the possibility of a major crime syndicate.

Little do they know that this crime syndicate isn't like Team Magma or Team Aqua who just wanted to expand land or sea. No, what they want is to create chaos and bring the world to ruin. They wish to unlock the unknown monster that the Regi's helped seal away long ago but to do that they need to find the 8 seals who's location has been lost within the sands of time. In an attempt to drag information out of people who MIGHT have the answers they abduct them and then the person they abducted is never heard from again.

Along with "The Cult" there are several other smaller crime syndicates within the region. They are after the seals as well but not to bring the world to ruin but merely to make a profit out of it.

So, do you still believe you can become the champ under these circumstances? I mean there's no telling whether your The Cult's next victim and wit the government unwilling to acknowledge their existence they cannot be caught and their plans are slowly but surely moving forward to unlock the dark monster that was locked away eons ago..

I enforce these with an iron fist, because I am a rp dictator like that​

- Respect, you will respect all other role-players in this role-play. Nuff' said.

- Bunnying is strictly NOT ALLOWED unless you have the owners permission to bunny his character in which case you must submit PROOF that he/she has allowed you to bunny his/her character. I will double check to make sure you are not lying to me.

-One paragraph rule is to be followed at all times, if you can't come up with at least 1 paragraph then don't bother posting. If you are caught breaking this rule then you will be booted out. No exceptions.

-Grammar. I don't mind a typo here and there or a misplaced period I'll let it slide but if it's just filled with careless typo's and grammar errors I will confront you about it. :x

-Granted this is a PG-16 RP not for swearing or naughty content but for some of the dark content it will contain. If you are not a fan of the horror psychological thriller genre I advise you not join this role-play. Also, because this is a PG-16 role-play I ask that all role-players maintain a level of maturity.

- Swearing and romance. Keep it to a minimum, saying ''Damn it,'' occasionally isn't going to hurt anyone but dropping an f-bomb every other sentence will get you kicked to the curb. Romance, I'll allow it but keep at it PG-13 at max.

-Be active. If you post one post then disappear off the face of the Earth I will not hesitate to continue on without you. I will also open up a spot for another role-player to join. If you have no intention of sticking to the role-play then don't join it. That simple.

Ok, I'll modify my rough SU accordingly. And this is just an observation, but you have given the new starters (Pidgey, Seedot, Lotad) levels, yet the first three (Ralts, Poocheyena, Makuhita) do not. It doesn't really matter, just something I noticed.

(A/N: Yeah, reusing one since I was having trouble coming up with a character for some reason. There is a reason he's in spoiler tags. And yes, despite there being two names, this is one character.)

Name: Indigo Verez/Melissa Hart

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Indigo isn't a large man, standing at an impressive 4'11, weighing at about 110 lbs. Let's start with his head, just because. His head is actually a bit large, but not noticeably so, with an egg shape, but it is hidden by his hair. Speaking of, his hair is a dark brown that is quite long for a guy, going down to his mid-back. He keeps it tied back so his hair isn't always in his face. His skin is quite pale, as if he didn't get much sunlight during his life. His eyes are a light blue, which could be a reason he wears sunglasses, so that his eyes aren't in pain when he goes out. His nose isn't that long, coming out only about an inch or so, and it is pointed out, his nostrils slightly visible to the public. His ears are a little large, and noticeably so, but are hidden behind his hair most of the time, so they're ignored. He has a moderate amount of freckles on his face, but not too much. His lips are fairly thin as well, not that he minds, mind you. He has a small stubble of a beard growing on his chin.

He has an average build, not muscular, not fat, not thin. His body isn't too large, due to his small stature, his arms drop a bit below his hips, making them fairly long, and his hands are a bit big too, with long fingers. His legs are short, but that's to be expected with someone of this size, but there is a long scar on his left leg that he doesn't find too flattering, so that is always covered with a bandage.

He wears a white long-sleeved shirt and a black vest that look a bit big on him, the vest has pockets on the left breast, but not on the right, and his shirt has a pocket on the right arm, sewn on himself in case he ever needed it. He wears a small earring on his right ear, and a golden necklace with an X on it. His pants are black and look a bit big for himself as well, held up by a brown belt to the third hole. On his left leg, he has a bandage over his scar, and black socks under black dress shoes.

Personality: Indigo is sort of a snob, seeing himself better then everyone else, as that is how he was raised. He has contempt for the world, but can work with it, as he does need to from time to time. Being from an upper class, he does have ability to lead, and can do so if possible. However, he is reserved, due to an injury he received from his own fault as a child, he lost the streak of rebellion.

Despite his teachings, he is afraid of taking his father's place as a company head, like he is expected to, as he can't match up with his father in ability, he is afraid he would run it into the ground. He is also nervous over pokemon with sharp claws, like a Zangoose, which gave him the large scar. He likes to have fantasies where he is in control of something, or beating his father in ability over something, still has his childhood imagination, and to cope with his intense nervousness over possibly running a company, he has developed an alternate personality, or as he likes to call her, an imaginary friend, and isn't ashamed to speak of her out loud.

This alternate personality is a female, but doesn't really come out much, simply staying within his head, she isn't too helpful, at least in his mind, but she does comfort him when he is feeling nervous, even terrified of the world at times. She doesn't really have many fears except for sex and snakes, both of them creep her out a lot, and it sort of leaks over into him, nervous of the first and scared of the second. She can't really lead well, though she does try to cheer people up. Whenever she does get out, she unties his hair, allowing it to go free, and subsequently gets annoyed when it gets in her eyes.

Their favorite food is agreed upon to be ribs, which he doesn't get a lot of to their disappointment. His least favorite food is celery, always making him want to throw up, but that's not the case with the other, her least favorite food happens to be cheese, not really liking the sharpness of it.

Indigo's hobby is video games, something to allow him to escape the real world, and what it entails. Being of an elite class, he is privileged enough to get large amounts of that, in return for being responsible whenever everyone else needed him to, even with these distractions, he wishes he could have been born in a lower class, not wanting to deal with the stress, and yet he acts superior to the lower classes, which is unusually strange.

His alternate personality, Melissa's hobby is hunting. She likes to hunt for pokemon, but never gets much of a chance to both because she's never the dominant personality, and that they never have a chance to go hunting, always having to do something else. Whether it's a pokeball or a gun, she likes the idea of a hunt.

Sleep is also different to them, Indigo wants to get to sleep early and wake up early, while Melissa wants to stay up all night and sleep through the next day. Indigo's habit of being a creature of the day being drilled into him since he was a kid, and Melissa being something to try and balance that out within his own mind.

Their sexual orientations are straight, but not exactly towards other humans. They're more attracted to each other, which makes things a little weird. Yes, if Indigo were to ever break from his shell, he'd like other people, but currently, he likes his alternate personality, even if he won't admit it. Even so, that is kind of disturbing. She likes him back, too, but being a different part of Indigo, she can't really like anyone else unless she were to take control for once.

David, Kirlia and Steven stared down Ezekiel and Mewtwo, the two exuding a fierce presence, the latter enhanced with a Shadow Aura making it seem even more powerful then it should be. What stood before them was the true force of the might of Team Enel: The Shadow Mewtwo. Ezekiel smiled a large, toothy smile and spoke aloud. "This, my friends, is a clone of the original Mew, tailor made to be more powerful." Ezekiel pointed to Shadow Mewtwo who was just standing there. "A clone developed by Team Rocket a year or so ago, I found the notes on Cinnabar Island about a year after the creature escaped, and followed them to get him. It may not be as powerful as the original, due to a shortage of certain hormones, but with the shadowification process, it has gained invincibility."

"So, you're willing to just waste lives like this?" Asked Steven, a cold glare in his eyes as he sent out Metagross. "You and Cipher are the same, suppressing the will of the pokemon!" Steven motioned to Metagross and Kirlia, both of them angry at Ezekiel, ready to attack on a moment's notice. "What you're doing is wrong, and even if you think it's right, you can't justify that with the course of action you took! Countless people in Hoenn are dying due to your occupation of Dewport, Lilycove and Mossdeep!"

"Yeah, these people all have lives to live! You're a monster for killing them so callously!" Yelled David, Kirlia attempting to speak his mind with telepathy, but failing due to the immense shadow energy Mewtwo was exuding. "Why do you cause so much people so much pain like this!?" And with that statement, Ezekiel began to laugh, the mask on his face reflecting the opposite of his joyous emotion. "What's so funny!?"

"You are so naive, the world doesn't deserve to have anything." Said Ezekiel as he turned around. Behind him, a large holographic map of the world appearing where a wall of the cave was. "War." Two regions, Sevii and Orange, lit up. "Famine." This time, Fiore lit up. "Crime and death." Kanto lit up. "Anarchy, rebellion." Orre, then Hoenn lit up under different colors. "Corruption." All of them lit up in a certain color now. "This world, has run itself into the ground, and you want to arrest me for wanting to rule over it, and rule for 10,000 years? I'll get the world into better shape then you pokemon league fools could ever do." At this, Ezekiel pointed at Steven, David and their pokemon, an insane grin forming on his face, eyes shining with expectation as he looked upon them. "Mewtwo, exterminate them!"

It took me... some measurement of time, but I've added my SU. Now, I wait for a response...

>Personality: Matthias isn't exactly the person you would class as a loner. In fact, he is a rather sociable person, always trying to strike up a conversation with whoever is near him, be it a close friend or a complete stranger. Unfortunately for whoever he begins to talk to, it will take no-less than a minute to realise that Matt will never take anything seriously, and that he will joke about even the most serious of topics. Yep, he's a joker, and not a half bad one at that.

The fact that he rarely stakes anything seriously is both his best and worst trait. It allows him to stay relaxed in a large amount of situations that others would be worrying about, and that he tends to seem rather friendly. Unfortunately for him, and everyone else, if a serious problem does arrive, he'll tend to just joke about it and forget it ever happen, which many find to be annoying.

And whenever Matt does bother to get up and help solve a serious issue, he'll most likely run straight first into it, and end up in some kind of horrible crash that even Superman would have some trouble fixing.

But despite all of his flaws, he's not a bad person. Just one that is highly annoying and rash…

When it comes to hobbies, Matthias has a few; one of them would be jogging. While he doesn't particularly do it for exercise, or to lose weight, he simple does it because he feels free, and even more relaxed. He also loves listening to music, although that would be rather difficult for him as any kind of music player (IPod, MP3, ect), would run out quickly enough without him being able to charge it.

>Appearance:

-Physical: Matthias stands at about 6'2, which is rather tall if he does say so himself. His skin is naturally pale, but has begun to tan slightly from living in the warmer region that is Hoenn. Matt is also slightly muscular, although it is barely noticeable against another person of his age.

His hair is fairly short, however it is long enough to see that it hasn't been styled in anyway, and is rather messy. It is also of a dark-brown colour. His eyes are a pale green colour, which is a trait that is quite clearly taken from his mother, as she has eyes of much the same shade. His skin had the occasional scratch or bruise marked on it, from nearly any time he leaves the house, although most of them have barely broken the skin, making them rather un-harmful.

-Clothing: Matthias wears rather casual clothes, mainly because he doesn't feel the need to look smart when he doesn't need to. He wears a white T-shirt, which is rather un-extraordinary, having very little which defines it from another white T-shirt.

It is, however, covered by a thin orange rain-coat, which is worn to cope with Hoenn's slightly tropical weather. Despite this, he rarely puts the hood up even if it were to down-pour. There are two pockets on said coat, one of each side, near the bottom. Two thin white stripes run from the wrists of the jacket, up the arms, and stop at the shoulders. He rarely does the zip up either, but that's just from habit.

And then, we move on to his trousers. They are jeans of a dark grey colouration, verging on being black. Two pockets rest on the side, and other than that, they too, are rather unremarkable. His shoes are black trainers, with the strings constantly tied in a double knot.

>History: Matthias, unlike many other people in the Hoenn region, wasn't actually born there. Matt was born in Azalea Town, Johto. However, he had only spent a few, precious years there, before him and his mother moved off to Hoenn, more specifically, Fortree. Being a rather adventurous and outdoorsy person anyway, the active and rural life-style of the quaint village suited him. However, this wasn't the only time he moved. Every couple of years, Matthias would move from town to town, city to city, with him, and his family.

Matt had never known his father, being primarily raised by his mother. Matthias had never really minded not having a father figure to look up to, finding his icons in local heroes, like Gym Leaders or Co-ordinators. Although the person that he did look up to the most was his mother, which is quite understandable as she raised him.
Matthias had nearly always had a love of Pokémon. He believes that this may have started due to the fact that his mother had owned a Skitty ever since Matt was young, and despite how much Matt thought of the Skitty as 'overly cutesy', he did love the pink ball of fluff.

During one stay in Oldale, he turned 15, officially old enough to start his Pokémon journey. From this point, his current objective is to head south, to LittleRoot town. There, is his starting point.

Grif -Your sign-up looks nice and everything seems to be in order so I'll say Accepted.

Now for my basic skeleton. MistressMew and I have decided to make twin characters.

Name: Alexandrea Mazurek

Nickname: Ally

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Personality: Quick-tempered and violent are two words to describe Alexandrea. She is someone who doesn't take crap from anyone and if you make her mad you are sure to get a good thrashing. Accompanied with a sharp tongue she is a force to be reckoned with when angered. Aside from having quite the sharp tongue Alexandrea is actually quite a quirky person.

She loves to play jokes on her friends by switching places with her twin sister, "Cassandra". The two switch places often so sometimes it's hard to tell who is who. Alexandrea will also go out of her way to protect her older twin sister and even took martial arts to protect from anyone or anything that may harm her she is also a self-proclaimed kleptomaniac and loves to steal anything form ice pops to artifacts.

She also a major tomboy and won't be caught dead in a dress and often refers to herself as "old man". Despite this when complimented by any member of the opposite sex she will turn bright red and start stuttering.

She was also diagnosed with bi-polar disorder and can have heavy mood swings if she does not take her medicine on a regular basis. When going through these "episodes" she can be merciless and cruel. Alex has had one account of violently assaulting a person while undergoing one of these "episodes". Luckily, these episodes are very rare if she properly takes her medication as prescribed. Despite this, she can be quite moody at times.

History: Born in the busy city of Celedon Ally is quite used to city life. Being the daughter of two important government officials meant that she was sent to an all girls private school and had the best education anyone with have. She was someone who had a proper upbringing and was pushed to the max to get good grades. Things were peaceful for a time until at the age of 7 her beloved mother was found murdered. After this, Alexandrea clung to her older sister for support. She became dependent on her older twin sister for support.

All this changed when her sister was brutally assaulted by a man in an attempt to protect Alexandrea. After this Ally vowed that she would be the one to protect her sister and never again would she see her sister so brutally beaten. This secret vow turned into a personal determination to learn self-defense. She began taking self-defense classes and started earning different belts and by the age of 13 she was a black belt in tai kwon do.

While things improved school wise things at home weren't improving. Her father had gotten a new girlfriend who was merely using him for money. Still she put up with it for a time until the day she saw this women verbally assaulting her twin sister. This is when the breaking point hit. She used her self-defense moves on this women and put the women in the hospital but this was not the end of her violent rampage. At school she tracked down 3 people whom she had hated and assaulted them with a metal bat and then proceeded to shove a large piece of glass through one of the victims eyes and then mercilessly broke all the windows of the school. She was kicked out of the private school and charged with 3 counts of assault with a deadly weapon and her father had to pay off the media to keep it a secret.

She was sent to psychiatric counseling and was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. Not wanting to cause anymore trouble he sent the twins to Hoenn where Alexandrea and her sister were to stay with her grandparents but Alexandrea was to be put in a mental institution until she would be considered "mentally fit".

She spent 1 year in the institution getting counseling and therapy for her disorder, she was also prescribed with medicine to keep her disorder under control. After she was released she began to despise her father and blamed him for everything. So one summer night Alexandrea and her twin sister fled.

By the age of 15 she was making a living as a mere thief. The two girls soon became very agile and nimble and learned to evade the police. They soon forgot about their homely life style in favor for a life of thievery and uncertainty.

The two girls were petty thieves for about a year until Alexandrea discovered a lost flier to get Pokemon starters. This is when Alexandrea would decide that she would start her own journey.

Appearance: Alexandrea always sports a guyish look and often one might mistake her for a male. Her long brown, red-streaked hair is often tied back in a ponytail to keep it out of her face. Her eyes a simmering crystal blue show a fiery passion to protect her twin sister and also a passion and love for fighting enemies much stronger than her. Her skin is peach colored and is laced with scars from foolishly fighting people, she wears them as a sign of victory but is quickly embarrassed when asked about them. She stands at about 5"5, only slightly taller than her older sister. Her body is well toned with a lean, muscular build with all the training she has had.

Clothing wise she is someone who honestly doesn't care about looks. She could go out into public wearing nothing but a pajamas on, because she honestly never cared. If it weren't for her sister's consistent nagging to keep up with her personal hygiene she would probably never get out of her own pajamas. Normally, she'll sport a black-short sleeved shirt with the logo of Left 4 Dead (her favorite game) on it. Her pants are just a simple pair of jeans that are filled with tears and rips from all the fighting she has done. She also sports bandages around her hands because of how badly they've been scarred from fighting, the many compound fractures she's hand left the bones in an odd position and the deep cuts she's earned from fighting off either gang members, angry shop owners, or police members.

Extra: Alexandrea is quite fond of Halloween. She finds dressing up in costumes and playing tricks on people quite amusing.

No one knows where it comes from, and no one knows how to cure it. You are doomed to a horrible fate worse than death if you succumb to this disease. And sadly I am succumbing to this abomination. Even now, I can feel my humanity slipping away.....

This was found in a page of a lost diary that was recently discovered in an archeological dig. The meaning is unknown and it is believed that the man was dying of tuberculosis since that disease ran ramped in those days and the page was stained with blood. So it was stowed away never to be read again if only they had listened to the warning..

Congratulations, you've finally come of age to get your first Pokémon, why don't you go see Professor Rowan to get it? Your sure to have an exciting adventure!

This is what the post card you receive in the mail says. You are finally old enough to get your first Pokémon and start your journey to become the best Trainer/Coordinator/Breeder ever. Excited, you begin to pack your things almost forgetting to tell your parents but as your packing you begin to feel weaker and weaker. Your breathing grows hoarse and faster and you collapse and are rushed to the local hospital.

When you awake the doctor is by your bedside with a solemn look on his face and a saddened look on your parents. Your mother is crying and your father is trying to keep back the tears. You look at them blankly.

"We are sorry but...you only have 6 months to live." The doctor says. You look at him in disbelief but he only hands you a book with the words "Mutuwar hauka Syndrome" on it.

"It's very rare..only one in every 7million will have it. Normally...but there has been a spike in cases recently...Many children your age are developing this Syndrome." The doctor says to you. The doctor leaves the room. Your parents are weeping the corner, especially your mother but they to eventually leave the room.

With everyone gone you open the book and begin to skim through the pages.

"Mutuwar hauka better known as Brain Rotting Syndrome.

First discovered in 1980 Mutuwar hauka is a brain disorder that causes the brain to work on overdrive until it literally begins to shut down. Survival rate is slim to none if any at all. The victims brain while on overdrive begins to secrete chemicals in higher amounts causing extreme chemical imbalances and eventually plunges the victim into a state of psychopathy until their brain shuts down and they die. Scientists have identified 3 stages of this disease

1st Stage - Patient exhibits no clinical signs of the disease, they may begin to feel weak and experience Anemia and breathing may hasten occasionally. The victim also begins to exhibit super human strength and speed because the disease is forcing adrenaline to be released in large amounts. This stage lasts 1 month.

2nd Stage - The patient begins to exhibit panic attacks, insomnia, and hallucinations although they still are able to keep their emotions in check. Frequent fainting spells and nightmares are possible. This stage lasts 3 months.

3rd Stage - The final stage is true torture. The victim has descended into full scale psychopathy and can grow violent. Extreme hallucinations occur along with complete loss of social skills. The victim looses all sense of right and wrong and can attack anyone or anything. Eventually the brain shuts down and the patient dies in a final hallucination.

No cure is known. Scientists are helpless to stop it because the disease is in the very inner recesses of the brain. Any surgery that has been tried has inevitably caused the death of the patient.

But all hope is not lost! Rumor has it that the Pokémon League has a special cure for the syndrome just in case. Rumor or not you've got to at least try!

The problem is, you must get to the Elite Four in under six months or else you're as good as dead. So in the dead of night you rip the hospital cords off your arms and escape out the window.

It truly is a race against time to be the best.

That isn't the end of your problems though, a new evil team is rising from the depths of Sinnoh, Team Necron. This team isn't after legendaries like Dialga or Palkia, they are a biological warfare team. They have no interest in capturing legendaries for their purposes. They are after the kids who have been diagnosed with Brain Rotting Syndrome and have been kidnapping them. No one knows where they disappear but rumor is they kill the them and harvest the disease while it still survives in the brain. They have no respect for the innocent lives they've destroyed, they only care about starting a biological war for their own purposes.

It's a race against time to stop Team Necron and become the champion. The consequences for you aren't like normal kids who want to walk the road of being a champion. You fail. You lose your life. Good luck, you'll need it.

Name: Mariella 'Ella' Trinket

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Personality: Mariella is the very epitome of an air-headed, self-justified, shallow girl. And a very stubborn on at that. She's one of those people who has their own beliefs and will argue them to the death, even if she should be wrong about them. She's also the kind of person to whole-hearedly deny the wrong-being until she can no longer do so. She has a huge pride, scathe her pride and she won't be very happy. She doesn't like being told what to do either, tell her no and she'll do yes and tell her right and she'll go left.

Besides the pride and stubbornness issues she's also rather shallow. She prefers her Pokémon to me pretty and cute, and doesn't much care about how powerful they are. She'd pick a week Ninetales over a strong Bronzong any day. She likes grooming her creatures and making them look pretty. Originally she was going to be a coordinator, and it would suit her so much more, but her friends told her she could never be a trainer and there she was, setting out to challenge the League. Paying no heed of any warnings of the strange 'Cult' of course, why would she?

One of the reasons Ella would not have been very suited for a trainer career is that she's very impatient. If the battle isn't going quickly enough she'll get agitated and try to speed things up and make mistakes. Same goes for when things are going well, there's been numerous times where it looked like there'd be no way that she'd lose, and she'd get overconfident and make a fatal mistake, therefore losing. She does have some genius strategical moments, something that comes from her coordinating talent. She's good at thinking up combinations at least, and every once in a blue moon she'll think of something extremely genius without even having thought it would work. And she'd boast about if afterwards of course.

Also she likes fire. No she's fascinated by fire, anything about fire. Except for fire types, curiously she doesn't like those at all.

Appearance: Mariella has long straight honey-blonde hair parted to the side, no bangs. It is most often tied into a ponytail at the base of the neck to keep out of place and she sometimes even pins it away from her face with bobby pins. Her build is long and slim, she has near to no muscles and has a bit of a willowy appearance, which doesn't help with the fact that she doesn't like having her legs covered. The last time she measured she was 1m89, and she really does hope that she's stopped growing now.

Her skin, besides being freckled, is very pale and burns incredibly quickly. No matter that she's lived in the sunny region of Hoenn all her life, it's still pale and it still burns. Her eyes are big and light blue and she has a small button-nose to go with a rather long and thin head.

As mentioned before Ella doesn't like covering her legs. If it were up to her she'd walk in shorts 24/7, even in the snow. She most commonly wears a pair of light blue short shorts with an orange tasseled sash attached that has several rings on it for Pokéballs to go on.

Above her shorts she wears a black and white striped shirt with tight sleeves covering most of her upper arm, the shirt itself cuts off at the ribs, leaving her midriff bare. Around her neck hangs a pale yellow scarf, tied at the back of her neck, though it's thin and its purpose is not to keep her warm by far. It's simply a pretty ornament that she wears.

On her feet she wears hot pink and white sneakers for walking long distances on. Around her shoulder hangs an off-white, cylindrical duffel bag for her stuff. Mostly it holds some spare clothes, including a long tee serving as pajamas, a bathing suit, a long raincoat and orange rubber boots for the muddier regions of Hoenn.

History: Mariella was born to a fairly large family, middle child of 4 children resulted in that she didn't get a whole lot of attention, but she didn't mind, she loved her sibs more than anything. She was a farm-girl, though not always voluntarily so, her parents managing a great orchard with many plots. She was always the student that did mediocrely well, but she was sociable and had a stable set of friends, really Ella was a very ordinary child, never did anything special, or had any weird tendencies. Or so they thought.

Ella had always been somewhat of a pride and joy to her father, but that rapidly changed as she start to develop a strange love for fire. Anything with a flame, really. She'd sit by the hearth and stare at the fire for hours, just fascinated by it. When her parents weren't around she put her hand as close to it as she dared, always pulling back before getting burnt. Her parents quickly hid the emergency candles, for they started disappearing one by one as Ella lit them in her room, passing her hand over the flame, a tad slowed every turn. She started buying matches from the local stores and simply lighting one when she felt the need for it, and she did quite often find a need for it. Her parents suggested therapy, but Ella brutally shot that down. They didn't expect her to go see a shrink simply because she liked fire, did they? It was harmless, really.

It happened just after Ella had talked to her parents about going on a trainer journey, something she'd come up with simply because she was told she wouldn't be able to do it. Just after that she decided to celebrate with lighting a match. She hid in the family's old barn, a thing that used to be used for hay storage before a safer and more fire proof version was built. Ella didn't know about the latter. She lit her match in wonder, but someone just walked in and she looked up in guilt, just then the flame hit her fingers and she dropped it, hitting some dry, rotting hay. The hay lit and within seconds there was a huge fire.

Mariella stole away that night, while her parents were watching the fire burn, firemen working hard to contain it. She stole away to ger her Pokemon, afraid of what her parents would say and do to her when this was over. She left a note, and fled.

Gender: Female

Personality: Vera is a silent individual. She prefers to not talk in discussions, bu she does not like to stand behind the group. She is the strong, fierce but silent type. During a battle, she will not hesitate to yell out orders to her prized Ralts. Her quaintness appears weak and frail at the beginning, but you will soon realize her true power. She only speaks if her ideas are outrageously better then the others. When you can start a conversation with her, she is friendly and will talk. She enjoys making friends, but does not like to be the one to walk up to them.

Appearance: Vera's delicate skin is often covered with layers of bright colours. A sky blue skirt and corset often match her, but when she has to be moving around a lot she tends to wear a pair of athletic clothes. She prefers to wear comfortable, beautiful clothing. Her small face brings out her big eyes, but they are often covered by the leaning over of her feathered hat. She will stand out in a crowd, so that is why she prefers to walk alone.

History: She was born 16 years ago into a life of love and cherish from her parents. They were not wealthy, but a middle-class family. She was born in Lilycove City of Hoenn, where she lived in prosperity. As a child, she enjoyed visiting the beach during sunset and admiring the blazing sun. She grew up happily, and at age 7 her father began to teach her about Pokemon. Him, being an ex-Pokemon trainer was a good role model for her. She learned, and became more advanced with the skills. She couldn't wait until she turned 15; when she would get her first Pokemon.

She attended a private school and made many friends, but she still contained most of her thoughts in, only telling them to her parents. Being a single child, they gave her the sole attention she desired and needed. Life flew by, and then when rumors of "The Cult" began appearing up in Hoenn, her mother and father decided they were to move to Sinnoh. But due to complications, her father's company was making cuts and he was fired. They were stuck in Lilycove. But when Vera turned 15, she told her parents that she had to save the world. They thought she was somewhat crazy, but they let her go. She went to the 'One Town'... and received her first Pokemon, Ralts. Thus, the saga continues.

RP example: Vera stared out on the horizon. The sun was beginning to fade into the distance. She laid back on the soft sand and closed her eyes, and imagined herself in the perfect world. The Cult was gone. Her parents were fine, and she was still a Pokemon Trainer. The waves slithered up onto her feet, and she stood back up. The sun was gone, and the stars began appearing on the sky. She stared up, and made out the many constellations that dotted the beautiful sky. She realized that moment. She realized that moment, that it was time for her to fix all of this.

Ok Yuukihime asked me to post the SU I made (I had too much free time one day and had this idea for a while). Yuukihime I made a slight change at the end of extra and beginning of Personality to hopefully explain things a bit better.

Gender: Male
Personality:

Sindri seems to enjoy messing with people around him. When he speaks he tends to use a pleasant/friendly voice, but he tends to be mocking or sarcastic with his words. Sindri isn't one bit shy and will not hesitate to talk to others. He doesn't have many friends, but not that he cares much about that since he seems to gain more pleasure from making people toying with people than being friends with them. Sindri likes staying a somewhat mystery to others, and doesn't ever honestly open up with anyone. Also he able to stay calm and collected in most situations, and hides his turn emotions behind a fake smile and closed eyes.

Sindri is in fact blind and "sees" using his psychic abilities, and because of this he favors psychic Pokémon. Sindri also has a like for Dark and Ghost type Pokemon also due to their darker/mysterious nature seems to grab his interest. He holds a complete distain for bug types and often refers to them as "nothing but pests that need to be crushed underfoot." For this reason he will be brutal against bug types in combat. Also he sees fighting and most normal types as un-interesting, and boring.

In combat Sindri doesn't like to follow the rules, and loves using tactics (often dirty tactics) to win over strength and pure power. He isn't a sore loser to those who out maneuver and outwit him, but if he is beaten with brute force with no real tactics he gets very irritated to the point his fake smile will actually disappear.

Appearance:

Sindri stands 5 feet 11 inches and has dark brown that almost looks black. His skin is rather light and only has a light tan. He is rather skinny and not muscular at all due to him favoring his psychic abilities over strength. His hair in the front comes to the top of his nose. As his hair goes to the back of his head it continues to get longer and in the very back it reaches below his collar to the bottom of his neck. Due to being blind his hair usually is not very well kept.

Sindri keeps the same facial expression most of the time: eyes closed, and a fake sly smile. He is blind so he barely ever actually opens his eyes. His eyes (if you ever see them) are glazed over with a ghostly white color that make what would be light blue eyes look light grey. Even when he is not happy or pleased he tends to smile… even in the face of danger he has a sly smile, and he doesn't seem affected by the danger.

He wears an off a grey 4 inch band that wraps around his head that fits perfectly around his forehead to the back of his head (made to fit him). He wears a darker grey shirt, and even darker khakis, and black shoes giving his clothes a fading pattern from top to bottom. While these clothes look ordinary they are actually made of a special material that reacts to psychic power.

Sindri can cause the clothes to start shifting in color making the black from his shoes seem to crawl up his body until all his clothes are black. Then if he really wants to creep people out he can seemingly make eyes open almost anywhere on his clothes. The eyes on his cloths are oval shaped long ways from top to bottom (they basically look like ()… ). The Cornea on these fake eyes is blood red instead of the normal white and the iris is a little darker red, and the pupils are jet black. The eyes look almost real (they are actually hidden in the material and are made like you would make fake eyes just not complete spheres), and Sindri can make them move around and when he uses some psychic abilities they will glow an eerie red if they are looking at the target object or person.

History:

Born out of wedlock to a traveling trainer who had just had a short fling with a temporary travelling companion, Sindri was seen as a burden to his mother. Being born blind frustrated the trainer even more, who was hoping to be the Champion of Johto (where he was born). Once his mother discovered his psychic abilities it was quickly the excuse she needed to get rid of the burden that was holding her back. Deciding to take him to another island to avoid any possible contact in the future, she took him to a small school for psychics in Hoenn. There she abandoned him and went back to pursue her dream.

The school became his home, and they cared for the abandoned child the best they could. They taught him to use his abilities to see in place of his eyes. Also they quickly realized he had very strong psychic abilities which allowed him to have a large sphere of vision. Had he not needed his abilities to make up for his lack of sight he would have been incredibility powerful, even to the level of many Pokémon. Despite the school trying to raise the kid normally (for a psychic) Sindri seemed to naturally turn strange and he began to even creep out some of the elders in the school with his mannerisms.
One day Sindri randomly stood up in a group focus session and announced he was leaving to go get a Pokémon and become a trainer. He then just walked out the door with that fake smile and went to where he heard starter Pokémon were being given out. He hasn't heard from the school and nor has he tried to contact them again.

Extra:

Sindri using his Psychic abilities like a radar to see. So he appears to be able to see (people think he is just squinting like Brock does) normally. This way of seeing allows Sindri to sense anything around him in a sphere like shape so sneaking up on him is impossible once inside his "psychic sense." The issue is he cannot see off into the distant very far while you see your heading toward a forest Sindri will not until he has gotten close enough to sense all the trees. He can use many other psychic based abilities but requires him to "shrink" his vision so he usually limits using other abilities and can never use his full power on something else since he will effectively be completely blind during that time.

Sindri will, once he has pokemon, toy with his and others pokemon like he does people. He does get a sick enjoyment out of this and seems to see people/pokemon as just things to amuse himself to... at least for now.


RP Sample (from another Pokemon RP): (Javok is the character… Skyna is his Gardevoir)…

Images flashed through Javok's head and sounds rung in his ears, but they all landed on one image and one voice. There he was standing in the middle of a dark room. He could feel a warm wetness just above where the top of his boots would be. Looking down the liquid was blood then the smell of death filled his nose as the room lit up more revealing the bodies of every man, woman, and child he had killed. "This is us…" said a voice that came from all directions, the voice was his own. "We are the best at what we do and what we do is kill now I think it's time to do it again… it's time to teach this brat a lesson," said the voice in a sadistic manner. Javok then realized he was still holding on to Devin in his dream. Devin's plan completely failed as Javok held on tight and his Abra ended up teleporting both Devin and Javok into the middle of the forest in some random location. Javok was looking at the ground at the ground as the confusion ray worked its magic on him. All of a sudden Devin heard him mutter in a soft creepy voice he couldn't make out most of it until the end.

"It's time to teach this brat a lesson," muttered Javok as he looked up at Devin. His face was not serious or cold… it was terrifying. He had a sadistic grin on his face and his eyes said murder on them. Devin could hear Javok's blade coming out of its sheath. There was no running for Devin, Javok held on to him with an iron grip that was so hard it shot pain through Devin's body.

"It's for the benefit of all," said the voice as the room lit up more. "He is a worthless coward who will end up killing everyone around him… kill him now and you will save their lives," added the voice as the room changed and the bodies turned into the members of the party and some of their Pokemon. Devin just stood there in holding one of his Pokeballs like it was his baby. Javok's confused dream state gave Devin a voice that said, "As long as I'm alive and I have my pokemon its ok." Just then Javok spotted Skyna's body twisted and tore. Her lifeless eyes were filled with pain. Devin looked over at her also and said, "As long as I have my pokemon its ok." Hate and anger boiled up in Javok's eyes as he raised his blade to cut down Devin.

Right as the blade was about to cut into Devin's neck it stopped. Devin could feel the cold metal blade slightly touching his neck, had the blade gone any further it would have drawn blood. The murderous eyes and sadistic smile faded, and at the same time his grip on Devin's shoulder loosened. Javok's right arm fell to his side. He then dropped the Katana on the ground as his eyes went from murder to horror. The confusion ray's effects had worn off. They had combined his reoccurring nightmare, his inner demon and fear of that demon, and his views on Devin and the belief he would end up hurting the group into one grand illusion/flashback. Javok's head dropped and he was breathing heavily as he regained control of his mind. This time the nightmare was real… too real he was even moving his physical body inside and outside the dream. Shaking his head he still couldn't shake the image of Skyna's dead body out of his head.
It took a second for Javok to lift his head and look around. His eyes showed off a mix of horror, sadness, and remorse as he looked around. "Where the **** are we?" asked Javok he then looked at Devin and said, "Ok kid stop trying to run before you get us in anymore trouble. I'm not going to try in take your **** Pokemon anymore. Right now we have bigger problems. " Javok focused his mind the best he could and tried to listen for Skyna's telepathic voice, but either she wasn't trying to reach him or they were too far away. He then glanced at the confused Abra. 'Too far from Skyna for her to reach me… and he confused his own Pokemon so I doubt it knows how to get us back or where he put us,' thought Javok.

Meanwhile Skyna was screaming telepathically for Javok. She knew how to just link her abilities to his mind since Javok's mind was so familiar to her. Unable to reach his mind, she turned around and ran back toward the path with a look of fear in her eyes. When she found Javok's stuff with Raghar sitting there patiently guarding it, Skyna tried to reach Javok again. Once again he was too far away. She had sensed their emotions fade in what had to be a teleportation from the Abra again, but something about the teleportation's power seemed off. Realizing Javok was gone and the fear she might not see him again overwhelmed her, Skyna broke down and started crying as she desperately tried to contact Javok, but was unable to.
