The most preposterous notion that the people of this community have ever dreamed up is that Bridget and Erica want the saccharine adoration of mere regular members, can be swayed by their prayers, and become petulant if they do not receive this flattery. Yet these absurd fantasies, without a shred of evidence to bolster them, pay all the expenses of one of the oldest, largest, and least productive industries in the history of this community.

does it really matter...? i mean what is so good about post counts?
 
Fable: But keeping ahead in post count isn't the best way to really do anything, considering the faster you post, the quality of the post decreases. I so learnt this ages ago.

Ikouze: Post count is basically a way that people think they can gain popularity. XD
 
No it doesn't matter in any way visible or noticeable, that's true.
TCTI is the most fun thread I'm on at PC, especially when the big battles for the cool numbers draws near XD
 
The only really big numbers are like 20000 and 10000... I got 10000... But anyway, activity increasing is bad in my opinion.
 
Activity increasing in TCTI isn't bad :O That way, the number rises faster, and what's bad with that? The bad thing is you can't really keep a decent conversation going, but that's what PMs and chats and DCC and Other are for, right?
 
Well not really, the posts and numbers for those posts become inaccurate, and the posters get all confused, while really, general conversations aren't even really suited to the DCC, for one being because it's so public...
