I couldn't believe it when I first read about it, too. I've largely gotten over the initial shock, though.

Would that be episode 4 of the first series or R2?

Because if it was the first series, that's a really bad spoiler. XD;

Does he really? Lol, I don't watch the show but I can't help but read the explosion on my LJ flist every time someone dies. Not enough people whined about the ending though so I didn't even get to find out the major spoiler for it. 8(

idk, I don't like the character designs for the show and that's seriously about enough to stop me from watching the series. Not like I have time to sit down and watch it anyway, though. D:
 
I thought the character design was okay. Lanky people and chicks with huge knockers, lol. :[

But it probably would have looked better if they used the character designs like from Gundam and whatnot.
 
I HATE and I mean HATE spoilers for things. But you got friends, and STUPID YouTube vids and comments (I know who's going to die before the dub gets there. I was watching a Geass vid... an AMV and then BIG spoiler happens and I'm like "O_O;;; *closes tab*") that just kills everything. For once I want to play a game, or watch a show without having the whole thing spoiled to you because some person who's already seen it doesn't care enough for other people to keep their own mouth shut.
 
Game spoilers are pretty bad. D:

But I don't mind anime spoilers for some reason, because I'm going to eventually find it and it'll make me more eager to watch it. XD

The reason why I can't stand them is I want to see it happen (in due time) and then be shocked, or saddened, or happy, when I should be. If I see such and such main character die, or hear someone say "Hey ... is going to die!" then it loses it meaning... to me at least.

And most of the time, the ones who goes around posting spoilers would have been pissed if someone spoiled it for them.
 
LOL I don't even care about the truth, really, but the wagon ending would be a hilarious ending to any anime, no matter the genre.

I hate spoilers, usually, but for series like CG where the ENTIRE INTERNET seems to be watching it--you can't avoid them and since I don't really intend to watch it, I just... didn't care. I usually avoid ANY sort of information on something after a certain time. Pisses David off a lot because he'll try to share a trailer and even that I won't watch if it's like... a month before the game/anime comes out. XD;

I don't know if I'll watch it right off the bat...Until there's some Asch and Natalianess, I don't want to hear Luke's 'BLAH'ing.

Imagine the spoilers for the second season of Haruhi, when it comes out :[ I'll have to kill half my flist on LJ to stay even halfway sane ;o;

Well, blame CLAMP for making Lelouch and his comrades a bunch of twigs. However, C.C. has a huge ass and most of the other women have huge boobs (with a few very noteworthy exceptions), so for me that more than makes up for their general skinniness.

I wonder, how would Code Geass have looked like if someone like, say, Noizi Ito or Kousuke Fujishima did the character designs?
 
You get used the the character designs the same way people got used to watching Shin-chan and Escaflowne. I do agree though that if it did have a different group, it probably would have gotten more fanism...but overall it's really an amazing show and people shouldn't watch it for the art for the same reason you shouldn't read Huckleberry Finn for the grammar!
