Spoken like a true winter spirit :P

Christmas time is so magical, though. I get chills (literally and figuratively) around that time of year, it's so perfect. Even though lately, since as we get older we get less gifts (and become more difficult to shop for XD), it's still so great to wake up Christmas morning to a light snow and the warm smell of gingerbread or cinnamon buns. *drools*
Oh yes, I'm most definetely a winter person ^^
Summer makes me miserable...I've never understood why people like it so much. Heat leads to dehydration, which leads to headaches and lack of energy, which leads to misery. Winter might be cold, but its easier to get warm than it is to keep cool. Unless you sit in a freezer or something, I guess...

I agree. I'm not the most cheerful of people, but Christmas has the power to raise my spirits almost instantly. Its just the atmosphere, I guess...putting up the decorations is always fun, Christmas songs (and I discovered Twisted Sister did a Christmas album last year, as well...this year will be even better for it. Plus I tend to get addicted to Carol of the Bells) and, of course, getting presents...I also get to see my aunt, and she is my favourite relative. She actually understands my flair for gaming - well, more than anyone else in the family - and she's incredibly amusing to watch when she's drunk.

I meet two more people who share the same Birthday month as me!

Personally, I cannot stand the fact that I have a birthday in November. It's almost always chilly and rainy, and I tend to hate my birthdays any way.
(I don't like all the extra attention. I'm weird like that. xD)

I wish I had one some time during the summer months. That would prove to be a pretty fun time to have a celebration in my opinion.

Ah Christmas, I remember it being so exciting as a child. Alas, it lost its luster once I got older. Don't get me wrong! I still love to decorate and listen to festive music, but the actual day seems like a bit of a let-down after all that preparation, am I right?

if it rains on my birthday then I will get very angry, it ends to rain here a lot in november, and I'm hoping for a white christmas this year, going shopping in downtown during december is awesome especially in the snow, all the lights when its night time feels soooo cool.

You are, actually...it can be a little anti-climatic once you've opened all the presents and realise you have nothing to anticipate anymore. Although I tend to get my presents spread out over the course of a few days - my grandparents and my aunt visit at different points - so it could be worse.

My true Christmas Day last year was Boxing Day. I went to a friend's party for the day...I don't think I've ever had so much fun in my life before. Sure, there were only three of us for the majority of the day, but we managed to keep ourselves amused. XD
I doubt I'll do the same this year, though...I've got to work on the 27th, and my hours are from 5:30am to 2pm. So, unless I pull an all-nighter, it might not be the best idea to go to a party...

I love to decorate my house, my dad thinks its a waste of time and stuff but I love to decorate, he even wants us to get just a tiny christmas tree, I said that I'd pay for a bog one and I made some little pokemon themed ornaments to on there too. I also place decorations on my balcony.

Oh I wish we celebrated Boxing Day in the United States. It always seems like such a fun little quirky holiday. xD

That's what my father said about Christmas decorations as well, Bamachi. One year I went up to the attic, brought down all the old lights, completely decorated the yard, and was back inside before he even noticed. He was astounded when I turned them on. xD

Good times, good times.

thats cool, we don't have a yard that ppl can see cuz our house is surrounded by tall hedges, and you guys don't celebrate boxing day in the US? wow I never knew that till now.

It is a sad but true fate; we do not celebrate Boxing Day. I do believe there is not holiday between Christmas Day and New Year's Eve that we celebrate here, actually. :o

I suppose we could celebrate Boxing Day if someone so wished, but it's not generally observed.
(It's on the calander though. xD)

I like it in the summer when it stays light out until 9...Now it's pitch black at 7. Kinda depressing =(

Wow,it gets dark at 6 pm here...oh,and guess what theres a chance that if it rins today,we could have a few minutes of snow...

See, that's kinda like my family. We don't really 'celebrate' Boxing Day, as such, but we do still recognise it as a holiday. I don't really see the point in 'celebrating' it. :3

um... what?

There's nothing to celebrate, it's just the day after Christmas o.O

My Birthday is at January, but my 1st Pokecommunity anniversary is at November 7 this year I think.

I always love Christmas every year when it comes, but first need to go through Halloween and Thanksgiving this year, until it's Christmas! ^^
Boxing Day is not like a special Holiday like Christmas, it's just a after Christmas Day thing which you don't celabrate anything.

I pretty much kinda said the same thing like Amachi said. ><

Yeah, it's not really a celebration. It's more of a "keep everything closed the day after Christmas" kind of day. It's a national holiday in that nobody has to go to work and most of the places closed on Christmas remain closed on Boxing Day.

There, I just denounced the belief that Canadians worship boxes on December 26th. :D

As for birthdays, I get a May one. Weird how I am the only one in my family who truly prefers the winter, yet I am the only one born oustide of it. Both my parents and my grandma have January birthdays, and my brother a February one. XD

Lol, what? Um, no... actually, I'm pretty sure all of the stores are open on Boxing day. Why? 'Cause of the massive sales. Boxing Day is, like, the best day to spend your Christmas cash. The sales on everything are amazing. And yeah, I should know what I'm talking about... I'm Canadian, lol.

Anyway, it always rains on my birthday... it's in April. :<

I said "most," XD. Like grocery stores and banks and stuff. But yeah, I guess the stores like Wal-Mart, Zellers, The Bay, etc open up that day. ^^

And I'm Canadian too, you know. :P

My birthday is convienently smack-dab in the middle of the year. It's kind of depressing because it's the mark that my summer vacation's half over. D:
