The easiest song in my opinion was Welcome to the Jungle. I got it 100% after just a few tries. And there was one more, some French pop-rock song you could buy, I got 100% the first time I tried it.

i'm the same...its to hard to go to orange button, on what mode did you get 100%?

Yeah, i found that the easiest too, and it was the first song I was ever able to actually get 100% on ._.

The best song from the GH3 tracklist is easily "One" by Metallica, because I've always been a fan of theirs.

..Did anyone noticed that playing through the fire and flames in GH3 on expert, is harder then actually playing the song on a real guitar? XD

I'm used to playing on medium, but I stared playing career on hard recently. Right now I'm stuck on "Raining Blood" By Slayer. Awesome song..but pisses me off horribly in this game T_T

..To be honest, i was kinda dissapointed with the tracklist in GH3. There were some good songs (Raining blood, One, Bullets on Parade, Stricken, My Curse, Through the fire and Flames, etc.), but for the most part, especially songs you buy from the "store," I haven't ever even heard of before. Oh, and plus GH2 had a Dethklok song. this didn't. WTF guys T___T

I didn't enjoy the soundtrack as well. They had good songs, but I just wish that they would transfer songs over from GH & GH2. They had very good songs in the first two games.

Your right about the store in GH3. I have not heard one song that redoctane put in that store. I would give the soundtrack on this game a 5/10.
 
Maybe the reason I haven't played GH is because I'm more of a Pop person XD
Rock and Metal aren't usually my thing.
If it has Queen or Led Zeppelin though, I may reconsider. :P

No, but it has such famous artists from that time like the Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, etc.
 
My brother has Guitar Hero, I think its really boring. Its actually really similar too the Alvin and the Chimpmunks game which seems weird but they have the same sort of game.

If it had more well known alternative songs or punk rock songs then I would play it more often.

I'll agree with you on that iots harder than it looks. Just tried to play Through The Fire & Flames on Medium this morning because someone my age on youtube got passed it with 100%. I lost without hitting a note. For some reason, my hand cannot transit over to the blue and orange buttons. i believe its because i am left handed, and I also blame my left-handed problem on the fact i can't get passed palying easy on GH3 =/
 
I played Guitar Hero for the first time a few weeks ago, drove me insane because I could play the songs on a real guitar but I kept losing in the game.
 
You did better than me, I dropped the guitar the first time Im played it. My brother was not happy to say the least
 
I really don't see how it could teach you to play guitar, anyway. Surely playing it is more complicated than the GH guitar pressing is o_o I've never played a real guitar or GH, though, so I don't know.

Can you imagine someone trying to dance like DDR? I'd pay to see that in a dance club XD They'd be so out of place, stomping their feet all over the place...
 
Whenever I see someone dance to a song on DDR, it...really doesn't seem like dancing more than it is trying to match the arrows and stomping. :\
I see how it matches the beat, but I can't see someone really dancing like that to a song....especially in Heavy.
 
I've heard that a lot of people who actually play guitar have major problems playing Guitar Hero or something. I'd imagine they're nothing alike. o_O

There are some people who can dance while playing DDR songs. I can't recall any specific ones, but I've seen Youtube videos where people will play a song on heavy and do things besides just stomping on the arrows. It's fun to watch.

Not really so much of a problem, it' just that they're nothing alike. At all. Basically after playing guitar for 2 years, i still manage to suck at the game, and playing it really..doesn't help with the instrument itself. think about it: on a guitar there are different tones, strings, frets, etc, while in GH you have 5 different colored buttons that you hit accordingly to what appears on screen, and a "strum bar" xD

I'm one of those people who looks like a complete douchebag when playing DDR; no problem stomping the right arrows, I just prefer not to be seen while playing it <_<
 
I'm so uptight when I play DDR >_> Nothing can ever ever ever help me learn to dance XD

Guitar Hero helped me with pinky strength on guitar/bass. My fretting fingers were predominantly the index, middle and ring. And thanks to Guitar Hero I'm confident with the pinky. xD

I heard on a guitar forum that Guitar Hero messes up your rhythm on real guitar. I don't see any truth to this, because GH has taught me better timing. Which is a good thing when you're a bassist, because it's your job to keep the rhythm. xD

I'm not very coordinated with my feet, so I never try DDR to avoid embarrassment. xD
 
I'm much better at DDR than I am at Guitar Hero. @_@ I got GH3 for Christmas and I'm stuck on medium level. :C My DDR mat broke, but even if I play it a few times a year, I'm still much better at it than GH. XD;
