Rice & Curry!

I had that for dinner tonight. I love it. it never gets old. Japanese food is great =]

Changing the subject, are you getting rid of the POTW sammi? I didn't see it stickied in the Other Voting Polls forum.

I know, it doesn't. :D But, sadly, the girls in my dorm usually don't try it. I think they're a little afraid of it.

PotW's been gone for a bit now. There wasn't much interest in it, not to mention I was getting bad at keeping it up. o_<;

Yeah, seeing as you haven't edited it in about a month O_o

So, hows everyone doing (trying to start a new topic)?

I'm doing fine, but I'm really bored. I really should just go upstairs and play FF X-2. I keep telling myself, "at least TRY it if you bought it..." but that hasn't been going too well. :/ All of my other games are at the stage of sidequesting before the final boss, and I don't want to end the game yet. But I don't want to sidequest, either. What a problem.

I'm alright ^^ I'm going to go watch Evan Almighty and trade a Porygon with my sis. ^_^
TOO BAD IT'S HACKED. >:-( I'm going to buy one in FR though in the Game Corner that's legit, 'cause I don't cheat.

P.S.: @Sammi - FFX-2's pretty good, imo. ^^ The sidequests are a tad annoying, though. Have you played FFX?

I hate hacked Pokemon. Or, at least, the concept of it. I kind of worry about this one Murkrow (...is that even the right thing? D: SHAME ON ME >_<) I got on GTS, it was in a masterball o_O I was like "...huh?"

Of course I've played FFX. I don't buy sequels before playing the first. Except Disgaea 2. I saw it played over the summer and loved it so much, I bought it. XD

I feel exactly the same. Right now i'm play The Simpsons Game (its actually a quite enjoyable game), and Super Mario Galaxy. I'm on the final boss for each game (passed the stage of sidequesting for the final boss, i've passed that already). Then wednesday i bought a the japanese wii game Jissen Pachi-Slot Pa*****o Hisshôhô! Hokuto no Ken (some sort of japanese Pan*****o game), and it looked really interesting when i bought it. i get it today after $85.00 and rush delievery. It looks very fun, but I don't really wanna get side tracked by playing it.

As for you, since you can go back to the store within distance of where you probably live, I would return it so that you don't get tempted enough to play the game.

And yes, i know it wasn't the best game to buy, because then i'll have the temptation of going to japan just to play it live and gamble for some sort of uninnovative electronic in an arcade, which is the last thing i really want to do.

The other bad thing is that i have no idea how to read Japanese, and i don't really know how to play a game like this. It looks like some sort of pinball machine type game, and i like to play those kinds of games, not games of shooting and blood. Wikipedia says its some sort of Pinball game that they play in japan, that it can be related to gambling (and gambling is illegal in japan), thats the only reason i decided to buy the game in the first place.

They don't make the original Disgaea anymore.
I have the original, but I looked it up on Ebay awhile ago and it was $75!
Still haven't beaten it either; this game is limitless :P
Also have the artbook too. I love Disgaea!

I was actually playing Disagaea believe it or not a few days ago XD

...huh? I don't understand. Why should I return it? o_O;

Besides, I can't. I bought it in September. I'm pretty sure I'm past the stage of returning it for anything. And I don't do game trading, either.

That doesn't surprise me, considering I can never find it at Gamestop when I look.
I don't really mind if I never play it. The second game's good enough for me. ♥ If I really want to play the first, I can ask my sister's boyfriend to borrow it, maybe. I'm kind of bad about playing video games most days, so I'd feel bad about having it. :s

Oh. i just thought because you would be so concerned about playing it by just getting rid of it for awhile. Nevermind.

Yes, never trade in your games. It really isn't worth it. THAT GOES FOR EVERYONE!

I've never traded in my games. THEY'RE ALL SPECIAL TO ME ;O;
Cause once you sell it, you know that later on, you're going have an urge to play it...
AND IT'S NOT THERE D:
I wubblez all the games I buy~ I'm a very picky gamer.

Hurr, Disgaea. I remember looking up prices for that on Amazon about a week ago or so (out of curiosity), and...being really glad that I got it when I did. D: I got it for like $33 then, tax and shipping included, and there's like no way I can find it for that low a price now.

I need to get back to playing it, but I've been distracted by other games lately. <_<

And that's exactly the reason I won't let go of even crappy games, because I know that's what will happen. :P

The Item World is beginning to bore the hell outta me.
And then it's impossible to beat the final boss without leveling 20 levels over him.
I've grown fond of the vets of my army though X3 Each one has a personality~
Jaflin likes to combo with Arace, Arace will never combo with Mikuru, and Mikuru will only combo with Bunker. Fun Fun Fun :D

Did you hear of the new group tactics game? It's called Soul Nomad. I wish I had the time and money to play that.

Yeah, I always keep all my games...unless it one I know I will never play, then I might consider it. XD

Aaaah... No, that wouldn't work.

Of course it isn't worth it. Buy low, sell high, it's the way things go~ I should find the receipt from when my sister traded in some games, the prices they paid back were pretty terrible. If you spend that much on stuff, you might as well keep it.

Same here ♥

It's pretty bad, I have urges to play some Gamecube games right now, but I don't own a Gamecube or the games I want to play. D: It really sucks. I'll have to play them over the summer, I guess. I haven't the money for a Gamecube and quite a few games, even if it's all used. >_<

EDIT @ Chibi: The Item World can bore you pretty easily o_o; But I love leveling items~ It's worth it in the end. XD

Leveling items is good until the near end floors where you're like, "OMG, HOW DID THE LEVELS JUMP TO +60?!" XD
I love moving residents to other items. I made this super Hypnotist gun once; everyone that got shot was instantly asleep. o:

Yeah, I hate the level jumps sometimes. That's when I thank god I have Tink and spellcasters~ Tink's a godsend, I swear *_*

I still don't get residents :/ I need to read up on that sometimes. I didn't even know I was supposed to subdue them in the levels until I actually read the manual. Usually I read the manual first thing, but since I'd seen it played...

The residents are what make the item awesome besides the power and defense.
Broker - Raises money gained by killing enemies.
Statistician - Raises EXP gained by killing enemies.
Manager - Raises amount of mana gained.
Armsmaster - Speeds up weapon mastery.
Hypnotist - Increases chance of Sleep effect....yadda yadda.

It's fun to put a bunch together and make super specialized items. The game is so versatile! X3

Wow, that is pretty handy. I'll have to look up a full list, as I've seen others. But I'll do that when I play it next. I have to be in the right mood to play it. But oh, when I'm in the mood, it doesn't stop @_@
