My favourite's That's Life. I own several LPs, nothing more.

OMG, one of the best ever. <3

I was just wondering, has anyone ever been on a rollercoaster with the loops in them? ;o
I was going to go to Adventure World soon and I was thinking of going on a rollercoaster.. but mum won't let me. I REALLY wanna go on! XD

Nope. Me is not a risk taker.

I like modern music because it hits me in such a way telling me what should i do with my life. Rap won't do that, R&B won't do that, only alternative rock or alternative music wakes me up and tells me what i need to do with my life.

But i do not want to talk about music. i have that discussion in DCC to many times. At least one topic talked about in DCC gets talked about more than 2 times.

New question-How many days do you get off for president's day/winterbreak?(If they call it winterbreak like they do around my area)

I get off this coming friday-then saturday and sunday for the weekend-and then monday. So, 4 Day weekend =]

Ah, okay then. Risks no good. XD

... what's a president day? Only in America? ;o
The next day that we get off of school and work in Australia is Labour Day, so that's on a Monday.

Whoa. Lucky! >.<
We don't get many days off, I think one of the longest is the Good Friday, Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday holiday.

President's Day? That's only in America, I guess.
For holidays, I'll have to wait till Easter. We mostly have free days in December, when we have a 5 days long weekend.

I would normally have to wait 'till easter...
but since I'm in uni now, I have just finished my first semester, so I have a break until the 18th of this month.
My vacation was supposed to be longer, but we had some snow days, which delayed the finals which led to shorter vacation :(

Heh. I want to go to uni now. My school is really evil: I'm having the february exams this week and I won't end this term until March, 11th.
So: the Friday I end my exams and the next Monday I have normall classes X_X

Ya school is way harder than uni (at least for me)
At uni, you can adjust your time however you want, don't have to wake up at 6,30 anymore XD hehe.

I definitely prefer university over school. The only problem is I have zero time management skills and I'm not very organized. I ended up missing a lot of classes due to sleeping in and stuff because my day wasn't structured like it was in high school. XD; Gotta fix that with my next term, which starts in May. :x

The problem with my schedule was I had classes that weren't very close.
I had a class from 10-11AM followed by another class at 2-3,30.

At first I had a rough time just sitting around doing nothing, I couldn't leave because I don't live very close to the uni.
But once I made some friends, that problem was solved, we would always go somewhere to grab a bite and haunt the place until class starts :D

EDIT: Lightning, are you male or female, cos some people were confused at the MOTM thread :P

I'll assume you have way more freedom than you did in high school, yeah?

@Oni Raichu: You have a ton more freedom.

DarkChild: My Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes were like that, but I'm lucky I lived in residence right on campus so it was just a quick walk home and I could just sit on the computer and grab some lunch before heading back. Though more often than not, assuming I got up and WENT to my morning class, I'd just come home and sleep through one of my afternoon classes. I was awful, seriously. XD;

Also, I'm female. :<

The freedom you get in uni is almost like wagging school everyday, except without the worry about getting caught or in trouble. It's technically like you're on holidays all year round and uni's only really there for you to have something to do.

Of course, your course kind of has an affect on exactly how much you have to do, but most of the time, it's pretty lesiruely, unless you really want to do well...

At least, I'm not looking forward to it much. Lurking on PC all day is too addictive.

Well, the uni isn't very far away from my house it's like 10 min by car, but the problem is I don't have a car... so yaa.

Lol, once I was late for my mid-term because I got so caught up with Howl's Moving Castle :D Luckily, it was an english exam :P

I always made sure I knew well in advance not to do anything interesting before exams so I wouldn't miss them. Sometimes, though, I'd just bring my computer to class and browse the internet if it got boring. XD;

Anyway, I'm gonna plan this semester's schedule more carefully, and I'm gonna avoid classes that are around lunchtime, I hate eating in the uni's cafeteria...

My uni's cafeteria was really good. The one up by the residences, anyway. I had a kitchen in my suite room though, so I cooked most of my own meals. I want to space out my next term better though, and maybe have everything starting earlier so I can come home for good earlier. @_@;

Eww, I have to go to work now. >:(

I have to do the same and I know how you feel, my uni's cafeteria always runs out of food (well not always but you get the idea) after 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon, either I buy pies (which I refuse to eat cause I'm a healthy eater) or I starve for the rest of the lecture. (this semester I'm bringing my own sandwich >=O)

EDIT:

Eww, I have to go to work now. >:(

But you earn money, look at the bright side =3

lol, sometimes they run out of bread.. lol i'm not kidding
Other times out of meat, and sometimes the meat tastes kinda weird...

When that happens, I just buy some chocolate, that seems to do the trick until I get home..

I have never liked the food in my school's cafeteria, so I have always brought a sandwich. At least it's cheaper and I can choose the flavour I want :P
