I'd like to go to Japan, and there's a way for me to go and be even worthwhile. You see, at the moment I'm about to take up Japanese at uni, but I can only minor it in my degree. However, if I go to Japan for a semester, I can major instead, though it probably means I'll be staying even longer at uni, which wouldn't really be so bad if it was cheaper ^^;

Phrase books might seem handy, but chances are most people won't understand you anyway.
 
I have to teach myself Japanese, but the phrase book is really helpful. o.o;

buuu. Maybe someday I'll be able to save enought money. It would be awesome. I don't think I would be able to be an exchange student, though. I'd be way too scared. XD;
 
I had a phrase book at one point, but the language began to frustrate me. It's odd, because everytime I was trying to say something in Japanese, I really wanted to say it in French instead. O_o
 
I don't think I'm going to Japan anytime soon unfortunatley. The only time I've been out of the country was to go to Egypt and some place in England x_x; I forget where though, I was pretty young.

As for future traveling plans: I want to go to Greece and France to use my two years of francais skills :>!

Its a great looking country, and fortuneatly for me, i'm going hopefully in the near future.

I plan that when i get around $2,000, i will have enough money to go to Japan and i would really hope to go on Sasuke (Ninja Warrior, in english). I have been practicing myself at home on it, and it has improved my UBS (Upper Body Strength).

Yeah, money is a big issue for me with that. We're already going on vacation this year and next year I graduate high school, so I'll be needing all the money I can get XD;

Oh! I LIKE THAT SHOW. I was on vacation and I was channel surfing since I had no idea what channel was what, and I found that. It's really cool~~

I'm the exact opposite. Speaking is great; writing is...bad.

And my pronunciation/speaking in Japanese is alright, but the writing is terrible. D:
 
Yeah, that was that guys...like..8th try and he finally got it. One guy has been doing it since the first competition. They're on the...20th or 21st now.

I have that problem. I used to accidentally speak French in Japanese class and vice versa. Confused the hell out of my poor teachers. XD

That's really funny, Lightning! I've not had that problem in class, but sometimes I speak this mutated Spanglish with random bits of German, Latin, and a few other things sprinkled in. Confuses the hell out of my poor family. XD;

Granted, my sister speaks purposely poor Spanish sometimes because my Dad can't speak a lick of it. It's hilarious.
 
My poor nephew... He cannot speak anything he is a poor 3 year old who is mixed bettween 3 languauges and it is hard for people who only speak one of those languauges to understand

he speak spanglish with some porteguese and it is sometimes confusing
 
Haha, yeah, sometimes I forget the language I'm supposed to be speaking or I'll start thinking in another one. It's very disorienting. XD; It hasn't happened in a while though.
