It would of also been ok if irc didn't keep disconnecting me. Couldn't talk to my internet peeps

He just phoned me up telling me he left his flash drive in my pc and he demanded that i put it in my bag school bag so I could give it to him on Monday

You're not alone, dude. I joined up here like, last year..it was 2 AM, and I was..bored...to be honest, I don't even think I remember how I came across this site; I think it might have been while searching for some info in my fire-red game ._.

Anyways, I'm..kinda lost on pokemon too. I don't watch the show, I only play the games occasionally, and I'm just generally..grown out from it. I joined up here for pokemon, yeah, but I really only still stay because of the friends I made here on this site =/

Dude, Zana, turning the net off and saying it's busted will probably be a good way to see how he reacts. But really, tell him it's okay to trade and stuff, but do some stuff together in between trades or... something. It's not fair for him to just come over and use your internet under the pretence of, you know, spending time with you. o_O

I'm still into Pokémon. Not as much as before, but I still play the games, doodle them, and collect way too much merchandise. But I'm still mostly here for the people. :x I get my fixes from the other aspects of my interest (like collecting, etc.) from other places like Livejournal or IRL friends. XD;
 
I just had to restart my pc because I had a system update. Was only one update and it took awhile to finish. My pc turns on and it sticks at the loading screen. Then it gets past that when I restart it but it stays on a black screen. Lucky I have system restore.

My day keeps going from worse to worse.

Stupid friend. No more internet for him.

I was also making him a bacon sandwich and the oil splashed in my eye. That's like the worst thing to happen all day.
 
I came to battle people, but then I realized I suck at it... like, really, really badly. :|
I don't even look at the Pokemon Video Game threads anymore... they're overrun by newbs. O:
 
I suck at alot of things including battling. I never got the hang of it. Wish I could do something memorable for something I'm good at. But I don't think that will happen.

Also teach the newbs. The only way the internet will get better.
 
truth be told I've collapsed all forums except for the news, creative arts and the Oftopic ones. I almost never look at anything having to do with the games, manga, or anime. I was never really into competitive batling, I enjoy a good battle with my brother every now and again, but seriously I find that many online battles are over run with too many people with hacked or total legendary teams. neither of which I use.
 
I had the game forums collapsed for well over a year. XD I dunno why I changed that and why I haven't collapsed them again. I also had the CS forums collapsed for a while, but since everything posted in them is spam... I like to keep them around so I can catch ti when it's posted. 9_9; Every other category has at least one forum I have interest in viewing.

Yeah dude, I know exactly what you mean by that..I stopped posting in the trade thread threads, and manage all my poke-related crap through PM now :D

..I just hate how like, people I know in RL who can actually..talk type up in newb-speak online..Like, it takes as much effort to talk like that, than it does to type up a gramatically correct sentance, so like..wtf? ._.
 
I find it takes far more effort to type in a "short form" than it does to just type out the whole word. I mean, I have so much trouble trying to imitate noobs because I just can't make my fingers do it. XD Plus, getting used to typing like that is just going to hinder you when you have to type up schoolwork, etc. o_O; I don't know why so many people bother getting into the habit.
 
Waaaay back in my own n00b days on the internet, I used to use some of the slang (not as badly as others, but I'd use things like "u", "y?", "2", etc.) merely because I thought it was the "cool" thing to do. I could definitely spell things correctly in real life, and would, but the internet was a different story...hey, what can I say, I was 13 and very impressionable at the time. :P I thought that's how people were supposed to write on there!

I have the same problem now with imitating such people. I've typed (mostly) correctly for so long that I just...can't revert back without using more effort. XD
 
I look back at my first post on the DCC, and I still feel like a newb. But not one of those chatspeak newbs, like, the doesn't know what she's talking about, naive newb. xD
 
I look back at my 3 years on runescape and remember how I use to type. Spelling mistakes all over. I never use to use the internet for anything but runescape. Then again look at my first post here a year ago. It would of had spelling mistakes all over.

Now it's not so bad and I'm not such a noob now.

I can honestly say, that even then, I never spoke in incomprehensible newb-talk. :D

BUT! I got out of the habit of typing up things like "lol." Now I just replace things like that with awkwardly placed text-smilies ._. (See? I just did it)

Because I mean, "lol" is like so 2006. Tch..
 
"lol" is not 2006 its so like 40086 duh.

So Anyone doing anything interesting or done anything today?
 
I only type "nooby" to some people as a joke.

It's harder to think about that, then to just type the whole word.
 
I dont type "nooby" Im just too lazy to use perfect grammar, punctuation, etc.
I get enough of that at school >:
 
I've never been good with spelling and grammar but I try my best even though sometimes it ain't good enough
