Techno, Electronica, and Happy Hardcore song are always very long D:
I do like Happy Hardcore though~
Electronica is waaaaaaay to repetitive; the beat's always the same.
I can't really stand techno unless it's a remix or a song I like.
 
I like electronica if it's blended with rock. >D That's why I love MSI so much.
 
Screamo... eh...
I do like screaming in my songs occasionally, but when a song's made up of only screaming, it turns me right off. :/
I haven't listened to j-music in so long. I don't like it that much >.<
I like alternative, though~ =D
 
OMG I DESPISE ANYTHING LABELED AS "SCREAMO"

My main genres are Hard rock, and anything Metal, but I'm open to all different types of music.

..The only thing I can't stand are those bands that build up their entire careers off one song, or re-releasing a track with a remix of it. I like diversity in music ._.

..Or, or bands that only sing about being depressed.. Like, I understand having emotional feeling in music that you can relate to, but it gets..lame only hearing negative crap over and over again O_O

Type in youtube 'Gary Jules Mad World' then type: 'Tears for Fears Mad World'.

The original version of the song before Donnie Darko made it famous.

My friend gave me a link to a song... and I swear, I was going to slap the entire band. Their song was so whiny it gave me a headache. And all their songs were like that. >_> It's annoying when all you hear are depressing, negative songs.

I like some metal, but I'm not a giant metal fan. I love hard rock, though, although I don't listen to it often. :D

Haha, that's more then me, I haven't heard of it or heard it ._. In my opinion, "Tori no Uta (Piano Version)" is the most melancholy/depressing song. Every time I hear it I become all serious and junk XD;

Meh, I don't care for metal or screamo. =\
 
I'm in the mood right now for video game music. I'm listening to the theme song from Sonic Adventure 2 called "Live and Learn." Y'know, for a video game song, the lyrics ain't bad. xD I listened to a crapload of DDR songs before that. :|

The most melancholy/depressing songs for me are Cancer by My Chemical Romance and Goodbye by Jade Valerie.
 
Some really good music that's soft/techno but REALLY good is Blaqk Audio. If you've heard of AFI, it's them without the screaming.

None of their songs are...depressing, though. I mean, some could be if you're always depressed. :/

Exactly. It's really good. I bought it and only like a few songs, but now I love them all.

It's gotten better as time goes on, so dunno. My taste in music must have changed.
 
Mine have, too. I used to be so narrow-minded and I only liked rock, but now I love pop almost as much (but not, like, mainstream pop like Fergie. I don't like that. More like pop few people around here have heard of, like Sweetbox, although they're famous in Asia.)
