I made it the most annoying attention getter ever.

But people get curious and end up joining my forum. We do run quite smoothly as a medium sized community.

Also I thought Mt. Moon closed down xs

I've been there for the past two years... Don't really remember that happening. :P
 
Haha... well, I went and strangled my rival, and now I feel great again :D XD

I've joined some other rather new, and some other rather big forums... but the only one I manage to keep up with and stay active on, is PC..... Don't really know if I have the energy to utilize all these new flashy thingys since the upgrade though...
 
Yeah, things are really beginning to get out of hand for looking pretty.

I've heard "PC=MySpace"-comments all day now.... ^^'

I hope they're not actually going to use those reputation bars that popped by some hours ago... I've heard from other sites they may be good, but can be bad.
 
Lol, i don't think PC could exactly turn into the devil... err... MySpace just because they've added a few extra features...

EDIT: Or maybe it can... @_@ why is there a mini myspace page as a public profile?

I dont see why people seem to despise myspace, its rather convenient :P

I... actually said that myself at some point too, yes ^^

Though I compared it to facebook at first.... this friend thingy. Well, it gets easier to keep a track of people. And it's really great to have a pink profile :3

And the social groups! Not that I've used them much.... but it's kinda fun that they're existing ^^

well, Myspace always gave me a lot of errors and I've always found the layout rather confusing
It got a lot better when they changed the layout though.

I still don't like it, there are just too many weird people on there, I actually don't know most people on my friends list xD

And I like the vB SN features a lot better than Myspace.
 
HEY. The largest difference between MyS and PC is still... This is a Pokémon Forum for gods sake. I've only got one single friend at facebook that I know on PC as well ^^
 
Personally, I'm more a fan of Facebook because it's easier to keep in touch with your old friends from high school and such. Although I haven't been back to MySpace since they changed their profile layout to a more Facebook-like one. Either way, I never really got into MySpace, it seemed too self-involved.
 
XD But he didn't know I had before I wrote that.......

I got a MyS account once. Then I never really logged in again. facebook is my preferation^^ since many of my friends have got it, and I've found lots of old classmates and even pre-school friends.... it gets awkward when you try to talk to people you haven't seen in 10 years but..... XD

Well you're using that out of context... she used quotes and was signifying that she heard other people say "PC=MySpace" all day. Just like as if i were to say:
Kanye West said, "George Bush doesn't care about black people."

I technically said "George Bush doesn't care about black people," but i said it quoting someone else, it is not my personal opinion being stated.

I love doing that. "Hey, we used to be best friends way back when, want to be facebook friends?" "uhh... ok (i have no idea who you are)."
Actually that doesn't happen to me, it's really nice to find old friends on facebook, and old crushes.
 
Well not many people I know are on facebook, yet almost all my classmates are on myspace :P
Plus I got a myspace before I got a facebook so I guess that may have to do with it
 
Ah Facebook. About a quarter of my friends on there are way older than me and most of those are ones I either know through my siblings or met once or twice. :P

Also, has anyone got the Superheroes app? If so, would they kindly let me steal their powers? :P

I'm your opposite then. Guess it's different in different parts of the world, what's more popular of the two.

My muslim friends often go to USA on holidays and have lots of friends there. They use Myspace, but most others just search MyS for interesting indie artists ^^ (struck by her own words)

ED: The user Eon-Rider here at PC is crazy about the Heroes-apps.... if that's what your referring to.
 
I think facebook is the myspace for those who are seniors in high school and older. It's less childish (minus the annoying apps...) and it has a different feel from myspace. It's not a popularity contest to see how many random friends you can get, it's more about keeping in touch with the ones you want to keep in touch with, something you don't really know about or feel like you need to until you go away to college and then you're not surrounded by people you know, but hey maybe i just have security issues.
