To me, making your own theme is apart of you. I know lots and lots of people can make better themes then me, and I could request one. But using one of my themes I can feel kind of proud that I made the one in my sig, it might not be the best but at least I made it.
I don't have a prob with using themes from others (I used to use them before I got into theme making), but I just feel better using one of my themes.


As for the way people dress.... not a clue. Seeing how I never really pay any mind to that.... yea. XD
 
I've made signatures for myself plenty of times, though I never use them XD; I'll work a while on them, and start to not like how they're turning out, and by the time I'm done I don't really like it at all... so I just let them die :x

Yeah, I don't give to much thought to how random people dress. I only pay attention to people I know, and none of them are 'emo' by any means... so yeah XD
 
My poor graphics skills would destroy any theme I wanted to make for myself. :P I don't mind too much if anyone has a theme, more about the quality of their posts. As for dressing, if something unusual is worn, I'll raise an eyebrow out of amusement and/or curiosity, but I don't judge people's personalities based on it.

As for emos themselves, IMO what they do is their own business, provided they don't harm anyone else. Personally I don't see myself getting caught up in such a movement, especially with the ones that do it to gain attention. It really devalues the significance of people with real problems in the eyes of the general public.
 
I'm on holiday already. Nearly over, though; it's only a two-week break. Down here, our major holiday is December/January, which fits more nicely - the start of the school year is much closer to the start of the calendar year. :P

This year, because of the exam system I'm doing (IGCSE) I'll be finishing seven weeks early. That is really FTW. :D
 
Ohhhh, I finish in about 5 weeks with a 3 week exam block and then a 1 month break. @3@

I'll be going to New Zealand with three of my friends for a week on a ski trip. C: *broke
 
Thanks. :D I suppose you don't really appreciate it as someone who was born here, but my father, who travels a lot says he often receives comments from non-New Zealanders on its beauty when they see his photos.

The South Island's beautiful, but the North's... varies too much. xP
Especially Wellington on a windy, cold day. Like today for example. xD
 
The other thing I miss about being a kid is the complete lack of pressure. I mean, wow. You don't appreciate how easy life is until you have to start high school. :P Still I'm fortunate enough to be able to cram effectively, so I only study the night before, on the bus to school, and right before the exam. However, with exams actually counting this year and being much tougher, I doubt I can do it this time. Still, I don't forsee myself needing to study more than a week out.
 
yeah i know what you mean. Until last Ictober i really didn't realise my position in life, now i really know what life is all about and it is NOT easy. Being able to go out all the time, and not care you cant do that anymore once you have responsibility.
