I fail horribly at CSS, I just do. But yeah, I can see how large blue bolded font could become incredibly annoying. :p

I love CSS. :D I don't use it as often as I should though and thus I always forget parts of it and have to look it up but... I still use it all the time, especially in websites. 8( I can't stand anything else these days.

I probably should try to learn css again, but it's just soo confusing to me. Then again, I never really learned to code that well in general either. =/

I don't know much about CSS. I used to know a lot more when I took a webpage design class in Dreamweaver, but then it was just point and click. I would love to learn more.
I used to over format gaia posts like nobodies business back in the day. Now, I could really care less.

It's really not hard to pick up. Once you know the basics of what it can do, you don't even have to memorize it necessarily. Just keep w3schools open while you code it and you can look up everything you need to. :B

I guess I had in my mind that I had to memorize it in order to say that I knew it. XD
I'm crazy like that sometimes : D

CSS is amazing, although difficult to grasp at first. I'm learning how to code tableless layouts via CSS, since I've been old-fashioned for forever and have been coding with HTML tables.

Besides, it's nice to have one CSS file for websites instead of a zillion HTML codes to format text, margins, etc. Makes the HTML pages much cleaner. :D

I guess, maybe I'll look into learning CSS. As for now, I'm content with making graphics and such in PS every now and then. Looking to get into illustrator type stuff for like magazines, etc as a possible career/major.

I've been doing tableless div layouts for years now. XD They may not go anywhere since I'm too lazy to deal with upkeep of a site but I could never go back. It's just too restricting if you don't use CSS. @__@

I've never really grasped them until late last year, only because tables were so easy for me and I didn't feel motivated to use CSS. I guess I should get with the times now, though. XD;

I'm alright with CSS and HTML, but I am definitely nothing special. I don't really see the point in colouring your posts either (although I used to always post in blue, I will admit) as there'll always be someone who's using a different forum skin and will give out to you for making unreadable posts. The only time I make my posts look slightly organised is when I'm posting a story or a poem, and even then I only have a few bolded sentences or whatever. I have only ever used CSS-Div in my signatures, I'm not bothered to use it for anything else.

I used to colour all my posts orange on an old forum I went to, but that's because they had only one theme, and it was a dark one, so I knew my text would read well for everyone. It's a lot harder to co-ordinate here unless you set a background colour with CSS and that's a lot of effort just for a post. :[ We have too many themes to even try getting something to look good for everyone.

I stole my CCS :'D

I used to do the whole color my text to match my theme thing that I thought looked cool, but made me look like a huge noob XD
I'm a noob at CCS, I can't wrap my mind around all the codes and stuff, it confuses me and I think that CSS guide was a REALLY good idea :]

There was a CSS guide? I probably never bothered looking for it, then. Everything I've learned about CSS thus far came from cannibalizing people's posts and having stuff dictated to me by others. Anything beyond basic boxes, and I'm lost.

I had to go through a lot of trouble to manage making a workable CSS signature.
And it ended up this simple. I fail at coding. So I'll just do it Jack-style and steal people's codes. ♥

I never really learned CSS coding for signatures, I just copied some poeples posts and kinda went around guessing at things for a while until I found a code arrangement that I liked. I still don;t know the code, but I have my base code that I work from and it's got everything I know of and I just put that in and then delete the stuff I don't want.

I could never give you my code by heart. Yes, I know some CSS, but although I've worked with it for a while, I've never actually memorized it. XD Most of the codes I've used in my signature I've copied off various tutorials and tweaked, or I've tweaked from my old website stylesheets.

It's pretty damn difficult to cannibalize others if their codes are locked within their signatures, and those so-called "guides" are of little help. How can I get it the way I want if I have nothing else to work with?

Well they're more like guidelines rather than "THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED LINKS AND DIMENSIONS AND ALL." It's the same as having to read up about CSS before you actually use it. And what were YOU using? Gerri's guide was pretty straight forward XD;
