The Daily Chit-Chat [2008]

Ok, Um........ elaborate maybe? ;D
*laughs at shortest Daily Chit Chat post ever*: "Haha."

I just got DVR since I moved to the united states, and I have been recording Family Guy. What I just noticed about myself is that I have suddenly found Family Guy, a show I have previously found hillarious, kinda boring and repetitive to say the least. I dunno, it just joined the club of shows that used to be funny, but I have now grown out of in my brain.

I dunno maybe I am wierd, but Family Guy hasent gotten into a slump, I just think I have changed. Have any of you had the same thing happen to you?
 
yup same thing happened to me with the simpsons
both of these shows cn get pretty boring sometimes
i'm done with the simpsons but i'm still a Fam. guy fan
 
there are a lot of things, reads, videos that I watch and are pretty funny at first but seeing or reading them again makes you realize they're not so funny or good as you remember, there's also the fact that repetition leads to monotony quite easily, and once you notice something's repetitive, it's hard to go back to enjoying it XD
 
ur kinda right,the simpsons is kinda always the same thing so yeah,but i've seen episodes of Fam. guy more then 20 times nd i still laugh my head off.

Yeah, the smae thing with me. I guess Family Guy has that kinda of comidy. I hate the stuoid Simpson, its sooooooooooooooooo boring, in my eyes.

Simpson's is only boring because it takes 7 months to make an episode, so in the meantime, they play a lot of re-runs (well they do here) and it's pretty much the same over and over. Plus it's been going on for ages so they're kind of dragging it out really. But I still like Simpsons, nevertheless.

Never really liked Family Guy, I don't know whether it's because I haven't seen much of it, or everytime I watch it, it has the same plot. Husband stuffs something up, Wife gets mad, Husband fixes problem, everyone's happy.

I like American Dad better than Family Guy though. Buuuuut, South Park beats them all. >:3

I can't stand American Dad. I find it's not even a little funny. :/
But yes, South Park definitely shreds them all to pieces. The creators are filthy rich, too. I heard they were offered 72 million or so to make another season. :O
 
I guess it's funny to me, because I don't live in America? XD;

And yeah, South Park people would be rich. D:

They don't need to hire famous actors to do voice overs for them, so they don't have to pay anyone. XD;
 
South Park has lost it's touch. It isn't as funny as it used to be!

Family Guy is so funny, Peter and Stewie are both just classic! American Dad is also alright, can get a bit boring after A while though!

Anyway, I heard that the guy who played Chef's voice quit because they made fun of his religion. Which is retarded, 'cause they make fun of every religion in that show. But I guess as soon as they poke at his, it's the end of the world, eh? :/

... So they killed him off. \o/
 
The Simpsons reached its peak around the fifth and sixth season and after that, it fell apart in terms of quality. See, before the seventh season, all shows contained some sort of moral, which was the greatest thing about those episodes. After the seventh season, you'd be doing well to get a moral from one episode per season, as everything seemed so crazy compared to the glory days. The lines are still very witty but the characters just seem to be doing the same recycled stuff over and over again.

South Park is hilariously funny and the writers are obviously not middle-class people. Well, not anymore.
 
South Park is weird, it pays so many people out. But I found myself ROFL at the Paris Hilton episode, that was just way too funny!

Lol, they dominated that religion. xD; Wait.... that's the one where they all think Stan is some kind of savior or something, right?

Yeah, that one, and at the end, they were like, "I'm gonna sue you!" And Stan's like, "Go ahead, sue me! >:O"

Well, on the previous page, someone mentioned that the writers were millionaires or something and I decided to make my post relate to that statement.
 
Meh...I don't find South Park that funny. I dunno...I don't find many shows funny D:

The only shows I've ever laughed at that I can recall in order of laffs:

-The Colbert Show
- The Emperor's New School
- SNL
- Invader Zim
- Spongebob


Everything else is corny or filled with groundling humor.

I've liked Spongebob for a while now it's very funny to me. And any other shows I like would have to be The Simpsons I love that show. So your not into very much comedy shows right then?
