If we ever had snow in England, it would be this thin layer which melts as soon as your step on it. -.-"

That's why visiting it is so much better. Seriously, NY has the best winter weather I've ever seen. I've been in so many white outs and blizzards there. XD
 
Oh, I hate shoveling snow. I lived on a farm, so every once in awhile my mom would get me to shovel a path from the house to the road(which is about 20 metres or so) and from the house to the barm(which is like 5 times as far). And this was in metre-high snow drifts sometimes....Yeah, I was glad when my dad or brother got stuck with it, XD.

The only reason snow is cool is because of snow days and delays....Otherwise I don't like it that much.

Although when we get like 2 feet of snow a night, the banks on the side of the road are like 10 feet tall after the plows go by =P

Haha, compared to us in which we drown in it. I love snow up until mid-January. By then it's like GTFO -.-

I will admit, those are really cool :P I used to have a house where there was a pine tree on either side of the driveway (like a gateway! :-D) and we would build forts on either side and have snowball wars on weekends. Then my mom would tell us to come inside T_T...
 
In February we have Winterlude, so people are always hoping it stays cold enough.

In mid-October, some shacks are placed in the canal. And by the time February comes along, people walk down to them and get beaver-tails(not meat, it's bread). We walk or skate on the canal! =D

I've also seen cars down there occasionally, but only city vehicles.
 
Yaeh it snowed a bit here...and by a bit, it was like a few inches surprisingly, but we didn't get out of skewl. So I was mad a little...
 
Still no snow here! I'd love to see snow, it's been ages since there's been any! Although it won't be that thick like it was years ago.. just a little sheet of snow that'll melt by the ned of the day.

If one more person says it's snowing where they are I'm gonna THROW THEM OFF A CLIFF. D;<
It NEVER snows here, because I'm like literally on the coast. My house is like half a mile from the sea. It sucks! xD But when there IS Snow it's like a miracle and everyone acts like they've saw Jesus or something. Everyone get's a snow day. (:

Man, it snows in Maine ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Hasn't snowed lately though, thank the gods! I would like winter to wait a little while before it hits us. Because when it finally does, it lasts forever. And I don't like the cold. Or the snow. T.T

There is some snow and ice now outside:D OMG you'll never believe what I did this morning, instead of school I went to a kindergarten and helped out there (school assignment),, OMG I was put with the youngest children's, but the youngest one was 14 month:D:D *Squeee* they are so adorable, I had to feed them there lunch,:D Omg I just adored them:D
 
It never snows where I live; I'm too far south, and I'm too close to the coast. The only precipitation I get during winter is rain.
 
There is a noreaster (please tell me that's the correct spelling ;; ) in my geographical living area (N.E. U.S.A.), so I'm hoping and praying that we get atleast a coating of the white flakes. Luckilly, we have warm, hot, cool, and cold temperatures, not to mention various states of weather, so we get to experience everything here. =]

In other news, I fail at writing poems for homework. DDDDD:

Same here we have something different for each season.
Summer=Hot
Fall=Cold/warm
Winter=Freezing
Spring=Wet

I see you're from Massachusetts. I'm sure your weather isn't all that different from mine, because I'm from Pennsylvania. Our Spring can be quite wet, but the majority of the time it's pretty warm. Of course, you get some cool days here and there, especially towards the beginning of the season. Our summer is hot as heck, and our winter is cold as heck.

Personally, I prefer hot weather over cold weather, so this time of the year really depresses me. It gets dark at like 6PM and it's just sooo darn cold. Even if I'm sweating buckets, give me shorts and t-shirts any day! It beats lugging around jackets and sweatshirts and wearing long pants in my opinion. xp
