Also, McDonald's in France is so cool. Everything is fancy and modern. It looks like a Starbucks only not so...snooty. A bit more colourful and trendy looking. And they have burgers with fancy names like "Le M". XD

Lol, whoa... if that's their McDonald's, I'd love to see their really fancy restaurants. Probably wouldn't be able to afford anything, but whatever. XD;

There's a rule if you're travelling to France (or Paris anyway)...

If their table cloth isn't made of paper or if they don't have an English menu, then they're too expensive.

I've never had a McFlurrie, XD. I prefer to waste my money on Skor Blizzards from Dairy Queen. ^^
I prefer Blizzards too (especially of the Skor variety *high five!*). But sometimes you just aren't near a DQ and if that's the case, a McFlurrie does the job well too. It's the only time I get to have the Oreo flavour, since I can't make myself switch from Skor. :[
Well that surprised me, XD. Apparently only the Canadian McDonald's restaurants made pizza. ^^
Wow, really? XD I guess they tested it on the Canadian market before rolling it out elsewhere and it... failed. :[ Not that that's an entirely bad thing--I don't remember enjoying those pizzas. XD
And as for McFlurries and Blizzards, I'd have to say McFlurries are waaay better. Yeah, DQ has more options flavor-wise, but they're lower quality. :D McDonalds' McFlurries are full of joy and twirls of love. Blizzards are just... y'know, ice cream. :/
...Blizzards are way better. :( I find they're more uniform--I mean, the parts that add flavour are mixed all the way through, but with the McFlurrie, part of the reason I can never finish it is because all of the Oreo cookie crumbles/parts are up at the top, so the first part is divine, but the rest? Just vanilla ice cream with a piece of cookie here and there. :/

I like the McDonald's in Québec City. It doesn't use the fancy French names (though it is still French XD) but it's cool in the sense that it's the only McDonald's in the world without Golden Arches. :> They got special permission to make the outdoor signage of that McDonald's green so that it matched the rest of Olde Town Québec and its copper roofing, etc. 8D; I always thought that was really cool, even if I have a grudge against them because they got my order wrong ten years ago. :C

Oh! I think I saw that. And they used a completely different font on their logo too, right? The only way you'd know it was a McDonald's was if you were reading all the signs.

We just went to McDonald's the other night they got our entire order wrong. No one ended up with the food they wanted :c

And, Blizzards > McFlurries because I find that they taste a bit more like ice cream. XD Or have more of an ice creamy texture or something. But, I usually end up going for a Brownie Explosion when I go to DQ.

Or if you're looking inside the storefronts, which is what I do. XD Why, do you actually read the signs to decide where to go? Because it's terribly obvious if you look in--you can see their fluorescent menu signs with hamburgers and I think last time I was there, they had big ad banners for pancakes or something in the windows. So it was obviously a McD's but the sign out front wasn't as invasive. :> And honestly? The fact that it's the only McDonald's with a different sign is the only "historical" thing about Québec City I remember from my grade 8 tour. XD;

I am very impressed how you guys could carry such a substantial conversation about McFlurries ;_;

I look in the windows if I'm walking by it. I don't think we did. I remember driving by it, which didn't give me a lot of time to look at anything. XD I just remember mom pointing it out.

I'm very good at carrying on longwindedly about mundane things, or things I don't even know/care about. :B It was conditioned into me by having to take a religion class all four years in high school.

You drove through that area!? Laaaaame. ;_;' It's such a nice, quaint little shopping village. D:

Well...we stayed in Old Quebec. So, we did plenty of walking around in the area. It's just that I didn't notice the McDonald's until mom pointed it out as we were driving toward the airport. I probably walked by it at some point. But, I'm a guy. I'm oblivious to things. XD

Okay then, you're forgiven. XD; I don't know HOW you can miss a McDonald's on that street though. :|

*pokes with a stick repeatedly*

Oh what fun I'm having XP

I am very impressed how you guys could carry such a substantial conversation about McFlurries ;

They are quite the conversationalists XP

McFlurries... I do like but I can never finish it. I don't like the rest of the stuff at Mcdonalds though.

Haha, somebody broke finally broke the ice x)

Every time I go to McD I actually feel like I want a McFlurry. But when I have it in my hand, or mouth rather, I realize again and again it's not a good thing. It's not ice-cream. Nuh-uh. It's ice. With colour. White. Colour.

Real ice-cream is what makes the world go 'round -> there~

I always feel bad about going to McDonald's, mostly because the food is incredibly bad for you...but you really want to eat it because it's so gosh darn tasty XD

I usually opt out for something healthier, like a Subway or Quiznos, which taste just as good but wont clog your arteries. =P

McDonald's is only really bad for you if you eat it regularly. :[ Once in a while is no different than splurging on an extra slice of cake, etc.

Most fast food places are even healthier now than they were before, once that fast food movie (whose name I cannot for the life of me remember) came into light. They reworked their menu/ingredients to be healthier. 8| I mean, I feel bad for kids these days. When they go to McDonald's and get a kids meal, instead of getting fries with it, their parents are going to get them apple slices lmao.

I think it was called Super Size Me, wasn't it?

Anyway, I don't really care about fast food places because I only eat that sort of food once every blue moon. I know a lot of people who'll go down to the chipper or whatever for lunch during break, and they haven't turned obese and they don't seem to be getting unhealthy either. As you said, they're getting better now, what with their salads and apple selections. Eating fast food and the dangers it does to someone is far too over hyped, especially now that certain people can't eat a burger from McDonald's without feeling guilty.

Yes I agree; kids need to get out of the habit that eating one McDonalds meal means you're gonna die or get fat. As long as you don't eat it on a daily basis, you don't have to worry.

Just as a side-note, McFlurries are 80% lard. =D

Oh I'll definitely eat there every one in a while. I just don't like making a habit of it, especially when there's healthier options. I totally crave those chicken selects with the spicy buffalo sauce every time we pass a McDonald's.

80% lard....100% delicious XDDD

Yeah it's bad...I know it's bad...But fast food has clogged our arteries since we were kids! I can't help it....The sweetness and sugar even though people say it "tastes bland XD" is addicting...of fast food in general (Why am I pouring out opinions that are "bad" in this image conscious society?) *pshh* it's cheap. =D

Yup but how many people actually go for the $2 Salad when the Burger is $0.99? =P

And I think the movie was called "Super Size Me" which I still have to watch. =/

I hope those apple slices are optional.

Changes like McDonald's using a different kind of oil or only white-meat chicken don't bother me. I think ingredients (save for supposed special ingredients) and calorie information should be listed at all restaurants (fast food or not), but I don't see why fast food places are now adding salads and stuff. You don't go to McDonald's for a salad and how did most people now know it was unhealthy until recently? XD You're not taking your kid there for a nutritious meal, the apple slices balance nothing out.

Nothing says real ice cream like mass-produced ice cream on a stick.
