I was in Karate and Basketball. But our house burnt down and I had to change schools. (Yes my school offered Karate.) And my new school wants us to pay 200 bucks to be on the basketball team and 400 for Karate so my mom wont let me.
I drew him a portrait. But I feel bad if I don't buy him something because he bought me something.
Edit: And since my mom is paying for it this year I am paying her back with my Christmas money. No I don't have to, I want to.
Like I said, you don't have to buy expensive things to be thoughtful. I said make your dad something. A card. Take some photos. Draw him something. Bake a cake.
You don't have to leave it at what your mother says. You can do something thoughtful. Honestly, it IS the thought that counts. It's the effort of wanting to do something more for the person who gave you a life.
