One of my friends on Facebook left his laptop open yesterday, and someone changed his birthday to April 1. The good thing was he could tell who his real friends were, as the people spamming him with 'Happy Birthday lolz' messages obviously didn't know him enough to know his real birthday!

In terms of feeling sorry for people with regard to their birthdays, it's people who have B'Days around Christmastime. Even if they don't celebrate the festivity, Christmas has the tendency to just overwhelm everything around it, lending to a diminished birthday experience.

You also get way less presents if your birthday is around Christmas because your gifts just get lumped together. (Yes that would be my biggest gripe, haha.)

My friend has her bday on Valentines day, and since she's popular with the guys, it's a double whammy, once she had some guy ask her out with 12 roses, but she broke his heart :L

I don't really like telling anybody its my bday :x

When I was younger, I used to love that my birthday was in June, as it was pretty much 6 months after Christmas, so there would be a sort of equal distribution of presents given to me. Never would there be a time where there was a present drought or a present surplus. It would be equal. EQUAL!

Yes, I was a weird child...

My sisters bday is on Christmas and she got a LOT of presents :/ A lot more than I ever got since she was the favored child :/

My birthday is usually on the first week of the new school year, so people tend to forget it because of all the ~FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL RUSH~ but I don't think it's nearly as bad as having a birthday near Christmas like my mom or my friend (who's birthday is the day after Christmas).

I don't care much for birthdays either, I never do anything fancy I mine.

My birthday is on the day of the Valentines Day Dance at my High School, so it just makes it worse seeing all the couples :/ I don't like seeing couples with their public affection :/

I had exams on my birthday the last two years, I think. Or if not on my birthday, the very next day so I had to spend it being a shut-in and studying. :( This year I won't have that problem but I doubt I'll be doing anything anyway. All my friends are in their last year of university and they'll be writing exams so I'll just go out for dinner with my family or something. I don't even get presents for it anymore, really. I hate growing older. :(

Actually I read all that and was nodding my head. xD I used to tell my mom (June 7) that her birthday was almost perfect! Waiting from April to December used to be almost painful for me when I was really little. :P

I don't really want presents for my bday, just money so I can buy books/manga. :) When I was 6 I asked for a toy and my dad got me a dictionary for my bday......how I hate that man....

oh I can imagine :/ I would hate it when couples stood in the middle of the hallway and hold hands/make out when you tried to get past them to go to class.

in college I haven't noticed it as much anymore which is nice, but when i'm hanging out with my couple friends, they can easily make me the third wheel sometimes which is aweeesome.

So I totally walked through a couple holding hands once. :/ They had to break their hand-holding... ness, all because of me. *trollface*

But in any case, my birthday's at the end of July, so I'm never in school for them, thank goodness. The only thing that sucks is that's it's right in the middle of summer vacation so people are away on vacation. It's hard to plan parties sometimes. :(

I... actually have a list of what I want for my birthday this year. XD; I never do; I feel weird asking my friends for gifts haha.
