Oh man, I watched the 4kids butchery of CCS (Cardcaptors) as a kid and I've still yet to watch the original. I have kind of a twisted nostalgia for it like I do the 4kids dub of Yu-Gi-Oh.
Technically, it was Nelvana that was responsible for cutting up Cardcaptor Sakura, not 4Kids.

They should just air Japanese anime with subs on TV here, it would be for the better. Then again I've heard of an anime channel that does just that :/
The issue with that is, who would watch that channel other than the hardcore Japanophiles? Also, regardless of language, the content would still be subject to American broadcast regulations, which as we all know are far more restrictive than Japan's.

I know over here there's anime on sometimes. All I know is that Pokemon is aired in the mornings, and that Death Note is aired sometimes on another channel. Also I think Bakugan is aired sometimes as well.

As for paid Foxtel/Austar (= American cable/satellite) you'll probably get Naruto, One Piece, and a lot of other programs. I'm not sure if InuYasha is still going since I don't have it at all.
They replaced it with King of the Hill on the early morning back to back episodes. Although I do hope they show Final Act Dub.

I really wish they would show more outside of the crummy Adult Swim line up they got now adays. All I watch on there is Kekkashi, Bleach, and FMA Brotherhood. I used to watch Gundam 00 Dub when they had Anime Mondays on Sci-Fi. I wish they would either make an Anime dedicated Network. Or bring back Toonami(would have to be revived or course) and Adult Swim to their glory days.

I'm assumin what that means is that a TV show in Japan which would be for their perspective of a 10 year old would in face, be something which should be aimed at 15-16 years in America?
Certainly not that extreme, but you still got the gist of it. Something clearly intended for 10-year-olds in Japan (ex. Naruto, any of the PreCure series) would most likely be reclassified as being for those in their pre- to early teens in the United States.

Ah that's. America has some strict regulations the last time I watched Bleach (for example) had a lot, if not all, the blood censored out of it, which kind of annoys me to be honest.

I have no idea what you were watching, because I never really noticed that much censorship in the American broadcast of Bleach. Most, if not all, of the blood was actually kept in, as far as I know.

PreCure aimed at Japanese kids? I thought it was like most Mahou Shoujo series aimed at the Otaku market. Of course there is some overlap but it's probably more correct to say a series like Jewelpet or something.

Gotta love 4kids.

I was watching one of the episodes in the Rescue Arc. and I previously watched the episode in Japanese to compare, and when one of the arrancar had gotten cut, no blood came out, yet in the Japanese one, blood did come out. I don't know if they did that for the rest of the episodes, but that was the one I watched.

Yeah when I saw that on CN I splashed water on myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

Ah, the days I used to think Naruto was good...good times.
Eh, I don't heavily watch it, but I think it's alright. I sometimes just drop out of it from time to time and just hope to get back into it when it's not as boring. I've done that like, 5-6 times now. :3 I'm more of a pirates guy myself anyways. :P

Also, I found an Iced Coffee in the fridge for me. :D

If what you're telling me is true, it's rather odd on Adult Swim's part that they would have Bleach censored while they gave all their other anime a free pass. Case in point: The final episode of Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG, where a man has his head blown apart by an assault rifle burst in the most graphic way possible.

It's true if my memory serves right. Ghost in the Shell still airs on CN right?

Oh and for those who watch anime on TV, which other channel do they air on? I know that some air on ScyFy, Disney (Naruto Shippuden) and CN, but is there anywhere else?

Nicktoons has DBZKai. I watch it there and it's really good.

About the censoring blood I believe they usually do it when somebody gets hit in the stomach and coughs out blood they replace it with spit.

Yeah, Ghost in the Shell still airs on Adult Swim. It's odd that they've allowed the broadcast rights for so many other series to expire, and yet they're still hanging on to that, Cowboy Bebop, Big O, and FLCL.

The Bleach issue just becomes downright bizarre when you widen your scope to include Adult Swim's own in-house programming. For starters, Metalocalypse regularly features graphic gore and hyperviolence, and yet the only things they censor on that show are profanity and outright nudity. Of course, I could be blaming the wrong people entirely; maybe Viz Media deliberately gave censored episodes for Adult Swim to air as part of a strategy to increase DVD sales?

Kai censors plenty. I mean Blue Mr. Popo for heavens sake!

You know, I never understood that whole thing with Naruto. They show the original series on Cartoon Network, and show Shippuden on Disney XD or something. Also iirc they still show Bleach on CN, but I wouldn't know.
I believe cause Naruto was Toonami program, and Bleach was Adult Swim. So since Toonami dissolved Naruto was no longer apart of the programming. Not to mention they would also have to buy the rights to Shippuden as well.

Unless Cartoon Network had bought Naruto, and anything in the name of Naruto, which would include Shippuden or something. I don't really know what I'm talking about right now. :P
