I'm sorry. :(

In 1996, Bandai's Tamagotchi was released and sold world wide. 44 Tamagotchi versions have been released between 1996 and 2009, selling over 70 million.

The Nintendo 64 rightly dubbed for its being the first 64-bit home console was released on September 29, 1996 in North America. Super Mario 64 was released as the first game for the Nintendo 64.

On March 4, 1996 Capcom released its widely acclaimed "Resident Evil" for the PS1 in both Japan and North America, giving birth to the still expanding video genre of "survival horror".

Sony releases Crash Bandicoot on September 3 for the PS1 and soon after became the mascot of the PS1.

Yay Crash Bandicoot! o: The first three games were epic. @_@ Same with Spyro.

My 1996 memories are something like:

- First time using the internet
- Remembering the Olympics in the US, as well as some random bomb.
- and some other things.

Idk, does my gender appear obvious on here? XD

No, I still am wondering your gender. I'm absolutely lost without it being clearly shown. D8
Pfft, teenagers and their egos. >o

My hat is offended by that.
I demand that you apologize.

I'm not too old, or too young right now. 17 Is that age where you mix in with the younger kids still a bit but you can socialize with people a lot older than you are.
At least, that's how it is for me. XD One of my besties is like 29. o__O" And some of the people I hang out with the most from my church are like 23 - 25 and are married. :P

. . .

On October 4th, 1997, Gunpei Yokoi died in a tragic car accident. Yokoi was the creator of the original Gameboy from Nintendo that released on April 1st, 1989 in Japan.

Star Fox 64 was released for the Nintendo 64 console on July 1st, 1996.

July 31st, 1997. Megaman X4 is released for the PSX! I loved that game...

On September 7, 1996, the epic of Final Fantasy reaches its seventh installment produced on the Playstation and PC.

@Luck: Who cares about your hat. :[

I could've sworn that you ran away before :/

Final Fantasy VII? That game was pretty good, I'll grant it that, but it was even more overhyped than TWEWY. They treated the game as the second coming of Christ.

This is SO true. @__@ I loved FFVII, but its so unbelievably overrated its unreal. And unbelievable.

I forgot one in '96! On May 1st Gamespot and GameFAQs both launched. ^^"

January 21st, 1998. Resident Evil 2 is released on the PSX.

June 29th, 1998
. Banjo Kazooie is released on the Nintendo 64.

(OMG THIS ONE) September 3rd, 1998. Metal Gear Solid is released for the PSX, setting the stage for the new genre "tactical espionage" for future games such as Hitman, Splinter Cell, and eventually Assassin's Creed.

September 30th, 1998. Pokemon Red and Blue are released on the original Gameboy. Subsequently, Pokemon "Blue" was released in Japan as "Green". These were the first among many to come of the epic series of Pokemon games on Nintendo's hand held console.

On November 21st, 1998, The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time is released on the N64. "
Originally developed for the Nintendo 64DD peripheral, the game was instead released on a 256-megabit cartridge, which was the largest-capacity cartridge Nintendo produced at that time." (was too cool to not quote)

The Gameboy Color is released on November 19th, 1998. Not even a whole month after the release of the first two Pokemon games.

Along with the Camera Printer accessory for the Gameboy being released, Rockstar Games is established in 1998. Date unkown.

My head is starting to hurt. T__T

^completely random, even DCC wise.
@Luck: I'm too awesome of a girl to run away. XD

You're such a tease cookie ☆ :3
Fine then! *stomps off but then decides to wait in PC's one and only unisex washroom.

Cause that isn't creepy

Aside from gender-bending, I wonder how that emblem is obtained.

How can you get a gender bender emblem without becoming a gender bender?

The Scientist's thesis on Gene therapy. I have no clue what that is myself.

It's using a modified virus to control what parts of a cells' DNA are changed during a controlled viral infection.

Viruses typically operate by attaching to a cell and injecting bits of RNA which bind directly to the cell's ribosomes. The ribosomes begin generating virus parts, which may assemble inside our outside of the cell (in the case of lysis).

Deoxyviruses are a class of viruses that use DNA instead of RNA. We can edit the DNA segment contained in the deoxyvirus and tell it which part of the host cell's genome to attack. The end result is that we have a "vector" (the edited virus) that will seek out and replace bits of cell DNA with whatever we choose.

When the cell divides, the daughter cells will contain the edited DNA, not the original. The old cells will gradually be replaced by vector-modified cells at an exponentially-increasing rate since there are thousands of vectors working simultaneously.

The problem is that cells divide at different rates. Neurons and muscle tissue, for example, last a very long time compared to blood and skin cells.

What would happen if a single organism had the altered set of DNA in various body tissues, but the muscle tissue hadn't yet completed its change? What if some cells are left untouched after the initial vector introduction? Would there be problems if adjacent cells had different DNA?

Autoimmune disorders can get pretty nasty.

But this is what I do, among many other things (theoretical quantum/metaphysics).

On an unrelated note, I seem to be getting a lot more attention now that my name is "The Scientist". Did you all just not like the name Neiteio?

I like the scientist more. Its simplicity makes it great.
Since we are on the subject of science, I found an awesome song I learned in middle school. 8D

Wow I went into town for more than an hour and this is all that's happened? O___o"

By being a win person.

amirite?

urright.
Eugh, I can never allow myself to say that again, for the sake of [grammar] nazism.
That "z" looks really off, I don't know why :/
