Doesn't that sort of thing happen across the regular classes as well? o.o; It's a bit harsh, yes, but I've never heard of exam-taking being delayed/forgiven because someone started later than everyone else. :scookie said:I just got transferred to pre-college Chemistry. I went in while they were in the middle of studying for an exam like 3 days later. That day was today.
I asked the instructor, "I just got in here. Do I still have to take the test?"
Her reply?
"Yes, you do. Welcome to Honors(pre-college)."
You're welcome. ^^ My timezone is GMT+12. :P Quite an unusual one. XD;~Momo Uchiha said:hehe thx ;). Wha?- five pm?! What time zone do you live in then?

cookie said:In my area, they're usually omitted. However, due to high standards that are thus set by the majority of high-level courses here, it's been set that even though one started late, their knowledge must be tested regardless of whether they know/knew the contents of the exam or not.
It's the real world giving you an early slap in the face. Regular classes here have it so easy like you would not imagine; they go at a pace that's ridiculously easy to keep up with; mainly because of the people in the class and it's been assumed that everyone cannot keep up with lessons being instructed at a more "faster" pace, or "higher-level" lessons. So as such, regular-level teachers always start slowly, and I find that degrading to someone of my own caliber, but eh. D: -is glad that he/she's not in regular classes anymore-
nope. You must of thought of the wrong thread. Oo?

Haha, like me. XD; Seriously Citrinin, I miss the kitty one! ;_;VMs are always an effective way to tell someone that their avatar is traumatising. ;D
Everyone double post twice GO
I'm already missing the kitty one, actually. XD; But I'll give this one a chance to grow on me before I decide whether or not I'll go back. :PBay said:Haha, like me. XD; Seriously Citrinin, I miss the kitty one! ;_;
I'm as advanced as I can get, in terms of classes, for my age. :< The only option is moving up a year, and technically I've already done that (I was let into school earlier than I should have been), and they don't like doing that here anyway. >:cookie said:Yes, and I know how you feel;nif you want a challenge, then go right ahead. Someone's bound to notice and hopefully place you in the classes you want.
Thanks for the advice. ^^cookie said:But I'm saying, however, be careful! You may end up regretting your own choices and thus find yourself slipping; and that would suck. D:
School ending in 3 days, finally I'll be able to rub it in that I'm having a holiday, I'm be able to complain that I'm going back to school instead of seeing every American do so.
because spamming is totally the answer :/
Three days for me as well. XD; Go Australia/New Zealand~ :P!Momo Uchiha~ said:WHAT?! Where the heck do you live? That is so not fair! *pouts* it's just the beginning for us peeps...grrr ¥o¥!!!
New Zealand.
Not fair? Hmm. You guys have a couple of months off for summer and god knows how many per term/semester/whatever, in NZ we barely have a month of summer holidays (exactly a month, I think) and a two weeks per term (may be schools fault). Though it's a far cry from the boarding schools nearby, it's still kinda annoying that we get null holidays compared to Americans.
A fellow Kiwi. :DLibra said:in NZ we barely have a month of summer holidays (exactly a month, I think)
