Ironically I was just studying about how outdated and incorrect the Bible actually is. Hehe.

What does it mean when people have a '+' by their name in the 'Viewing this thread' bar?

Yeah I'm atheist. Was heavily involved in church, taught sunday school, everything. Then while in Japan I actually experienced the world and realized that I couldn't be holed up in a religion praying to something that wasn't there and wasting my life. It was hard to break out of it since they teach you about such dire consequences for non-believers, but I realized that too was just a scare tactic to make people stay and also reach out to others in order to expand membership.

The cake is a lie. D:
 
Yeah, discussing religion here is always risky.

Personally, I'm Catholic, but I'm not an active one. I was brought up by a Catholic mum and a non-religious dad. I went to Catholic school for a few years. But a few years ago, I decided I couldn't do it. I'm still officially Catholic, though. I was baptised when I was unable to make the decision for myself, and confirmed when I was still too young to really get it. :/ It's a whirlpool system.

Though I do regularly participate in lectoring at sermons and assisting in communion. I enjoy it. :3

I've probably said this a lot, but I'm really tired of some Christians hating on homosexuals and giving the rest of us a bad name. It sucks. :(

Christian by name only. I go to church, I listen to the music, but the Christian faith does not determine how I live my life. I do.

What really annoys me is that in my area, every single church and campus ministry is obsessed with "spreading the gospel." I have no part in that sort of thing. I don't believe it's my place to force others into adopting another's beliefs.

Besides, we all know the one true god is a 1985 Buick LeSabre Limited XD
